Kid Cid
Actually, the simplest and most fair way to do a college football playoff would be for all conference champions to be seeded in a tournament. There are currently 11 Div 1A conferences plus the Independents. How each conference chooses it's representative is at the discretion of the conference. If you really wanted to be egalatarian, you could choose 4 (Independents get an auto bid) or 5 (no IND auto bid) at large teams based on the polls. That makes a 16 team playoff replacing 15 bowl games. I don't care what the conference presidents say, this model produces more revenue that the current bowl system. Elias Grodin
Ok out of the AP Top 25, ( and some outsiders looking in) - Who is a buy and who is a bust.?? Busts - LSU. The SEC schedule is tough enough without the everyone gunning for you. Back to Back away games ( UGA/FL) should dash their hopes of a return sugar bowl right into the rocks. WVA - why is a big east team even in the top 25. With Miami and Va Tech gone who are they going to play ? Ball State? .. Cmon . Buy - Alabama - Shula finally has a good recruiting and coaching year under his belt. Croyle is back healthy,.. this team could really surprise some of their opponents. Any others?? 352778[/snapback] WVU = Bust. Losing to the first decent team that they play. Next prediction, Texas wins next week over OU, in Dallas. I think its time for the pendulum to swing in this rivalry. It has been way too one sided ( OU's favor) up to this point. -Grodin
