Keeper Trade Advice

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I'm in a keep three league with my only viable keeper being D. Thomas right now. I'm exploring some options to add more keepers but I'm not sure what route to take. I've drawn a very tough division next year as well so I'd need a very good draft to make the playoffs. There's also a punishment for coming last place (pink t-shirt you have to wear every Sunday during the next season) so tanking isn't really an option. Anyways, which do you think is a better option?

It's a 12-team keep 3 league. Standard stats but 3 WR. I'm already without my 4th round pick.

Option A:

Trade a 6th for Watkins

Trade a 3rd for either Hopkins, Cobb or Hilton

Option B:

Trade higher picks for two of Hopkins, Cobb or Hilton. One guy owns both Hilton and Cobb and wants a 1st for both (although I think I can talk him down to a 2nd & 5th) or I could trade a 2nd for one of the two and a 3rd for Hopkins with better picks coming back.

Would it be smarter to go for Watkins in the hope that he overtakes Hopkins/Cobb/Hilton by 2016? Or would two of Hopkins/Cobb/Hilton be safer options for this year and next even though it's going to cost a bit more?

Thanks for your help! Let me know if you need any more info.
