A setback but so far I have gleaned he will be okay - certainly in a football sense. Having nerve damage to a finger for a DE shouldn't matter much I would think.

Wow. I wonder if the Giants just walk away from him now. This story got real interesting real fast.

I heard it's looking like a two month recovery period. I remember Ronnie Lott playing with only part of his pinky finger, but to try to play after you lose your entire index finger sounds like a real uphill battle.

ESPN's Ed Werder reports Jason Pierre-Paul is dealing with "right thumb fractures" that will require six weeks to heal.

Obviously, this is in addition to the recovery period for Pierre-Paul's amputated right index finger, although the fractures are expected to take longer to heal. Werder reports JPP has undergone "numerous surgeries" following his fireworks accident, and will remain hospitalized for 2-3 more days

what an idiot

There's something unusual going on here, but I just can't put my finger on it.

Neither can J.P.P.
