Keeper Strategy

I've had this debate with myself since my fantasy season ended last year. I had a disappointing season and finished 11th out of 12 teams. I traded off some of my best players near the deadline and now hold three 1st round picks for this upcoming season - 2nd, 8th and 12th.

Here's my question. Romo was my QB last season and I can keep him as a 6th rounder. Should I keep him and use my 1st round picks on backs and receivers OR don't keep him and try to draft Rodgers with one of those picks. Our league scoring is very beneficial towards the QB - 6 points for TD's and bonus points for 300+ yard games.

I've been leaning on keeping Romo because there's no guarantee I get Rodgers with the 8th pick.

Thanks for the help!

agreed, I'd roll the dice and throw Romo back.. see how the first round plays out, I don't know how your league drafts with 3 first round picks you'll be able to get a lot of value on top tier pool... including on the turn of the 2nd and 3rd rounds you'll have pretty much your team done after the third. If rodgers is there you can take him, I'd even consider Luck as a late 1st rounder especially if you got a WR1 and RB1.. you'll get solid RB2/TE or WR1-2 in the 2nd/3rd. but you have to look at what people keep because then their need will probably shift to other positions. Starting out with WR1, RB1 and possibly Gronk in the first is pretty amazing so be flexible (even minus Brady he'll be inline for a stellar season when Brady returns)..
