FastSteve
Dynasty 12 teams, start 3 each at LB DL DB. Scoring Assisted Tackle =0.5 Tackle, Forced Fumble, Pass Defended = 1 Blocked Punt,-PA,-Field Goal,Safety, Tackle for Loss Bonus = 2 Sack, INT, Fumble Recovery = 3 Any TD = 6 I have only been playing IDP leagues for a few years, so I am not completely up on it. Between DB & DL where should I focus 1st? Which is likely to score more? We are being allowed to make trades right now for players or draft picks. We are doing 8 rounds. We started 4 at each D spot last year but are going to 3. Between starting 4 & dealing with injuries at LB, I am overstocked at LB with 9. My players LB - Jerod Mayo, James Laurinaitis, Koa Misi, Thomas Davis, Danny Trevathan, Vontaze Burfict, Sio Moore, Khalil Mack, Anthony Bar DB - Eric Weddle, Stephon Gilmore, Micah Hyde, Deone Bucannon DL - Carlos Dunlap, Mario Williams, Damontre Moore, Dontari Poe(who may not be starting the season) Obviously I could afford to trade a LB or two for another player or draft pick. But as I asked which will give me more value? DB or DL? I draft 9th overall this year & the draft is serpentine so there will be 6 picks between my 1st & 2nd picks. If I work trades, I am thinking I should try to get an extra 1st or 2nd pick being how many picks are going to go by between my 2nd & 3rd picks. So what's the advice? FastSteve
Anybody? Need some advice.
Zooty
DBs are usually much easier to find than DL so I would look to grab DL in a trade first. You LBs are nice but none standout too much other than Lauranits and Mack. I'd prefer to keep Trevethan and probably Barr. Mayo, Burifct and Davis are either older, coming off injuries or both. Burfict's concussions scare me for a LB Misi and Moore are kind of question marks but young and look more like bye week guys at this point. I'd say be willing to move anyone but Lauranitis (unless offered a top flight DE)
FastSteve
Thanks & I get what your saying about injuries & concussions. While there are some injury concerns there, I would like to think what I do have going with my LB's is upside. And yes I like Mack. Something to keep in mind is Mack wasn't even the top scoring LB on the Raiders & in this league he only outscored Moore by 7 points exactly. Not knocking Mack at all as I do see him as a keeper, especially being there is no time limit on keeping in this league & he is young. I am just saying I think Moore who is also young has more value than people are giving him credit for. His recovery is going good. He may get eased in at the beginning of the season but he should be full swing not long into it.
Zooty
I use a couple different places for IDP info so you may want to check the web. Mack may end up as a DE before the pre-season is over and Moore is battling Malcom Smith for the starting gig. I like Moore too and own him but his starting job isn't locked up yet. FastSteve
Damn I did not see that about Moore. Will have to keep an eye on that. I have till the 25th to lock down my keepers.
