CJ2K

Heard this morning on local (Arizona) radio - there's rumors flying around Cardinals camp that they're interested in bringing in Chris Johnson. One report says they've already made him a 1-year offer, another report says they've invited him in for a workout..

Cardinals insiders report that the team is concerned with Ellington's inability to stay healthy, and they're concerned with David Johnson's hammy - I guess it's worse than some people are letting on to.

I think it would be a pretty good fit - that being one where CJ2K can pull his best TRich impression and run into the back of his o-line 9 times, but on the 10th maybe break off a 20-30 yard run.

It was reported (again local radio so no link) that CJ2K is holding off on signing anywhere that can't promise him a starting gig. What I didn't know was there were people knocking each other over to get to the front of the line to sign him..

With so many RBBC's out there, why not add Johnson to the mix if you're drafting a redraft team? Especially for a team like Arizona that will rely on their defense a good bit. Ellington can't stay healthy and is really just a third down / gadget guy anyways. David Johnson could be a beast, but that may be 2-3 years down the road. For this year, I'll buy on Johnson... especially if he's in Arizona.

And... just as I type this, he gets signed by AZ.
