tazinib1
I tell you what, this isn't too much of a stretch. Bradford - if he stays healthy... IF - could have a decent season, but part of me thinks that Tebow is going to be a bigger part of this offense than people are thinking right now. Agreed. I keep hearing people (namely radio talk show jockeys) complaining he is even on the field. It's not hard to see why he was brought in. 2pt conversion and GL specialist. Not only does he make the team, but he could end up being the ultimate TD vulture.
Randall
Tebow, geez other than a few short passes overthrown all he can do is run near the goalline. His biggest value is making opposing DC's gameplay for him even when he sits on the bench. I am not a fan at all. His throwing is way to inconsistent to present any fantasy value. Randall
+1. I really can't believe we're still talking about this guy. Sure he was a winner in college and can score from in close but come on. I like this from Baltimore Beatdown on why they got little coverage because ...Tebow mania. "Baltimore played a bad game. Blatantly. Flags were flying more than actual eagles and ravens in the world it seemed. But the reason Baltimore didn't get coverage in this game wasn't because of any other reason than TIM TEBOW IS ON THE FIELD WARMING UP! TIM TEBOW IS ON THE FIELD! HOW DARE WE NOT SAY TIM TEBOW IN THIS HIGHLIGHT LESS THAN X AMOUNT OF TIMES!!! The reason is clicks. It's not that hard to get clicks. Honestly, if you want clicks even I can show you using this link. My point exactly. Tebow clearly sells, and having a piece on him isn't bad, but to take over the entire opposing teams coverage on a back up player is disrespectful. It's not Calvin Johnsonjumping over 4 players for a score. It's not Rodgers eviscerating a secondary. It's not JJ Watt racking in crazy pressure stats. It's Tim Tebow missing open throws instead of Bryn Renner being showed. Or any other player of that matter. So to the NFL, yes there were in fact two teams playing, and highlights of both teams AND A TIM TEBOW segment can happen."
Papa Deuce
I wonder if there are actually people who think Tebow should be a starting QB based on merit rather than his character and religion. I, for one, have never heard of any, but I have heard people kind of refuse to answer that question.

I, for one, have never heard of any, but I have heard people kind of refuse to answer that question. I would not roster him based on his play. I do think he (could) bring something to the table in meeting rooms. I also think that if anyone could ever get him to switch his position, he could be very useful as a TE. So far he seems to have let his pride keep him from making a switch, which when you think about it, is really funny.

And no, I am not trying to make this a religious thing, I don't care either way but you can't get a conversation with a Tebow apologist about him being a good QB without them talking about his religious beliefs - which I find maddening... The man is one big walking contradiction...
Grits and Shins
I don't think Teebow was given a fair shake in this league ... he was drafted too high and thrust into a starting roll too soon with unrealistically high expectations of him. Then when he didn't perform in a traditional manner took an unfair amount of criticism. He was a QB that desperately needed time on the bench to learn the system and acclimate to the NFL style of play.
MorningMud
He COULD very well be the greatest/most successful college QB of all time though. At the least, he is in the conversation.

Check out Dak Prescott that has those 2 intangibles and is a Tim Tebow clone in terms of size and speed for the NFL draft this upcoming year. Anyway that gets him in the second round is going to have a Franchise monster. He's a cross between a Tebow and Cam Newton but better. If Dallas takes Prescott and its time. darin3
I'm biased here for reasons I won't go in to but I think G&S touched on some good points. If the media didn't overhype the guy in the first place, we likely wouldn't be having these conversations. Thursday night will be a big test for him. It's him vs. Barkley for the #3 role. Barkley will start against the Jets, and Tebow supposedly will have the entire 2nd half to show what he's got. Just a hunch, but knowing what we know about Chip Kelly, I am guessing that Tebow will have to crap the proverbial bed (pun intended there) to not be the #3 guy there. If/when Bradford gets hurt, they know that Sanchez is a somewhat-capable backup. Kelly's gonna want the "gadget" QB for goal line/red zone situations.

bud29
Jesus Christ i came here to read about Bradford. If any thread gets long enough, it will eventually loop back to either Tebow or the Cowboys. Edited September 1, 2015 by bud29
Grits and Shins
Seems to me that in a discussion of Bradford it is not unreasonable to discuss Tebow given Bradford's injury history and given that Tebow plays the same position for the same team. Furthermore, it is not unreasonable to speculate that Tebow may steal some goal line action from Bradford.
AX2RUN
I think he will post 4800 yards, 32 TDs, and 18 INTs. I think the league is not going to have an answer for this Eagles offense for the first half of the season. Be like a rerun of my broncos a few years ago . INCLUDING the part where they get figured out.

Dcat
As an Eagles fan, I would love nothing more than to finally see a healthy, productive Bradford.... but my gut says he plays 7 games and throws 12 TDs before his season ends. What are your predictions? I predict that Sam Bradford will actually throw one or two passes for over 20 yards. But that's about it. and only if he can stay on the field without body parts falling off.
