the207life
Just had a guy in my league take Antonio Gates in the second round followed by Danny Woodhead in the third. What are the worst picks you have seen so far? Edited August 21, 2015 by the207life
Big Country
Worst pick I've seen happened in the Superbowl on a pass from the 1 yard line.

loaf
I haven't completed a draft yet. The Huddle Message Board II didn't see anything outrageous in the first several rounds
bud29
I'll come back once my local draft is underway....Homer glasses have been known to get the best of some guys in that league. I've only been drafting in BoTH leagues so far, and nothing outrageous in those yet.
The Grey Pilgrim
The worst draft pick so far was in the Huddle league I am currently drafting in. It was my pick for CJ Anderson as the first pick overall. Not a real stupid pick, but, not one you see everyday, either. But I like my team overall, and I do think CJ has as good a chance as any to finish as a top RB. I believe John 2V made the same case a day later. Obviously, I knew none of the top RB's were coming back to me at the end of round 2. Might as well get the one I liked best.
irish
In a 16 team league, I just took Gronk at 15 and Luck after the turn at 18. So starting off and not getting a WR or RB until round 3 in a big league might spell the end for me. We'll see.
PPIchamp
Russell Wilson 2rd overall. Then the same guy took Graham in the 2nd round, so we know what's going on there. Hopkins at 3.3 (non PPR) Brady at 4.10 Connor Barth at 9.

In the first round pick the guy you like the most and believe in. So long as he's a first round talent, which CJ is, and he has Manning as a QB. You could do worse. Risky, yeah, but hell go for it. There are a hand full of guys that can be the at the top and he is one of them. Good luck
AX2RUN
I'll ammend this post this afternoon after my local draft. But last year in this same league we had a guy take Josh Gordon at the top of the 2nd round, who was suspended for like eternity lol.

HowboutthemCowboys
Guy in my league drafted Jordy Nelson with pick 1.16 of our 16 team league. SucksGuy in my 16 teams did that and also took Rodgers in the 2nd. Seriously tho...sorry. That does suck
AX2RUN
Guy in my league drafted Jordy Nelson with pick 1.16 of our 16 team league. Sucks Similar situation here. Guy drafted Nelson last pick in the 2nd (yeah that low), it was about 20 minutes later he went down with the injury.

ebartender
My league is very QB heavy as far as scoring but one guy drafted Brady in the 4th and Stafford in the 5th.
kwolf68
Arian Foster was taken in round 3. The owner who drafted Al Blue took pity on him and swung a trade after the draft. My pick of the Dallas Cowboys defense (really late at least) is pissing me off as I left Miami on the vine, who I think will be better. Wpob
I am in a long term dynasty league and most of our picks are rookies in the first couple of rounds. An owner picking 5 had his heart seat on Agholor and when he was taken, offered the pick in a trade. Another owner, who did not have a pick until the third round, offered Eddie Lacy for the 5, 7, 11 and Blount. We figured he had a plan (Melvin Gordon was there) and was going to reload. He had no plan. He went off CBS Sportsline available players and they somehow had Antone Smith (RB atlanta) ranked high so he took him at 5. There was a good ten seconds of stunned silence. The next guy finally reacted and took Gordon before the owner could try to redact the pick. Still stunned, he picked again and took Jameis Winston. It was at this point that we unloaded on him! We have been friends for 30 years and that was the worst two first round picks ever (he has Romo, Dalton and Carr). He followed up with Phillip Dorsett at 11, but the damage was done. For the next 9 rounds he was abused. And for two hours after the draft the comments kept coming. To his credit, he sat there and took it. By the next day we all felt bad for him, as his team is now screwed, but he will hear about these draft picks every year now. Poor bastard. Glad it was not me.,
MorningMud
Arian Foster was taken in round 3. The owner who drafted Al Blue took pity on him and swung a trade after the draft. My pick of the Dallas Cowboys defense (really late at least) is pissing me off as I left Miami on the vine, who I think will be better. I have to admit that I took Foster at the very end of the 3rd round in a redraft league. I knew his injury status. Drafting in the last spot though, I took him in hopes that he comes back after 4 weeks and dominates which would basically be giving me an extra 1st round pick. I can get by until then. Is it a gamble? Of course, but I have been doing fantasy football long enough to known every pick is a gamble and everything comes down to some luck. If it doesn't work out...there's always next year! But yes, it's very likely that it is a bad pick...
PPIchamp
14 team PPR, $125 entry money league:D Adams at 3.7 over A Johnson, E Sanders, Edelman and A Cooper. but the top boner pick: Cutler at 5.4 over Peyton, Ben, Romo, Brady, Eli, Ryan, Rivers, Tannehill and Cam. I personally have no problem with taking a chance on Adams over those other guys, especially Cooper. The Cutler pick however is bad Edited September 2, 2015 by Finn5033
hezagenius
10 team league. One guy drafts Peyton in the 5th, Brady in the 9th and Eli in the 10th. We asked him what the hell he was doing. He said he thought they were going to be good this year and he wanted to make sure no one was able to get them and start them against him.
