stevegrab Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Wel the problem with that group is the coaching staff is still waiting for 1 of them to seize the job. So far none of them have impressed anyone. If Duke Johnson could have come to camp healthy he may have done that. Watching the pre-season thrashing in TB from last weekend both Crowell and West looked good, the OL was opening some nice holes. With Johnson now in concussion protocol, possibly out the final pre-season game no way he cracks into the top 2 yet. I see Crowell as starter and getting about 60% of the carries, with West getting the rest and splitting it with Duke when he's healthy. I also know they want to use Duke some as a receiver, both in the backfield and lined up as a WR. That will be interesting. I know it was preseason against the Bucs, but it was the dress rehearsal game and I liked what I saw from the offense, a good mix of run and pass, quick decisions, and more toughness and focus on running.
