A new work league and the scoring is something totally native to me

Basic PPR scoring and 6 pt a TD for RB/WB/TE

QB settings

6 pt per TD

.25 per attempt

-2 per INT

Rosters

QB 1

RB 2

WR 3

TE 1

WR/RB/TE 1

QB/RB/WR/TE 1

K 1

D 1

Bench 6

What would you do?

Looks like having at least one super stud QB is necessary because scoring for passing TD's is primo like a WR/RB/TE score on top of that .25 for attempt means those pocket passers can gobble up even more points. -2 for int is quite normal.

QB's with around 600 attempts (Luck, Brees, Roeth, Stafford) would equate to 150 pts alone, that difference alone from Brees (most attempts by QB) and Russel Wilson (19th in attempts) would be a 52 pt difference. although if you have a top 10 QB and did not get Luck, Brees, Manning.. there are plenty of QB's with around 30 passing TD's and 600 attempts.. I think this scoring hurts the running QB's that are not named A.Luck.. he's probably hands down the most valuable guy. With that said WR's take 3 spots and RB's 2

I would still prioritize them based on a full point PPR. If this is a 10 team league there are QB's to be had..if we're 12 or more QB priotity would be try to get a good QB within the first 3 rounds most likely otherwise you really have to hit on the attempts/TD's and yards.. I'd almost just look at stats and cancel out QB's instead of deciding from a group all the QB's to take. Newton would be horrible, Wilson not great, A.Smith, Kaep, Bortles, Dalton.. low TD numbers and low attempts that would possibly concern me.

You either start the QB trend or jump on the QB train when people start grabbing QB's I just wouldn't wait and be at the back end.. I'd draft pretty normal unless I could take Luck early he's pretty much the only one.

TY nice advice

12 man league

Yeah think at 6 i am going Rodgers. the guys in this league still do not grasp what is happening and think AP, Charles and Lacy have more value than Rodgers

Hopefull get Eli or Pakmer in round 3-4

QB with top 2 picks with that scoring. Look at what kind of points QBs put up in that kind of scoring system and you will see that if you can start a high level QB in that flex you will have an advantage over every other team greater than what you likely get even if you hit a homerun with an RB or WR in the 2nd or 3rd round.

With that scoring, assuming most other scoring is relatively normal, and with that lineup option, you're going to be playing a lot of fantasy quarterback rather than fantasy football.

Yeah the second QB just needs the potential to throw a lot and basically hit around 30 TD's then he's probably the best option for the super flex.. I can see people loading up on WR's though, you still want to keep a best available strat and fill those WR/RB positions with best available otherwise guys that wait on QB will just continue to scoop them up.. the thing here is not only balance one good QB early but also get a healthy 2nd sometime before it gets down to the 20's. The league's scoring relies still a lot on WR's and RB's so the beauty is you have options if you're carrying an extra QB to play at the flex or if he's going into Seattle you'll want to throw in another RB/WR for super flex. It's definitely an interesting setup, I can see WR's very thin, QB's thin and RB's pretty thin with that roster setup, most likely by design.

Don't stretch on your second QB too early if you go A.Rodger's in the first.. also if you go Rodgers in the first I don't think I would go TE.. you need to fill WR/RB at least RB1/2 and WR1/WR2 pretty quick.. bascially 1-5 rounds QB/WR/RB .. then maybe second QB or TE or best available.. something will be weak, for me (historically) after I pass on Gronk and Jimmy I just take whoever late (warm body pick) then I stream that position weekly looking for someone to emerge, not that you would have to just how I've done it.

Actually just found out I am picking 8th so not sure now

I still want QB's with my first two picks then load up on all those tier 2-3 RB/WR and snalg a TE in round 7-8
