He hardly put in a full practice. Still very much day to day.
gilthorp
He's going to play. Should he? I doubt it - I'm a very nervous Alshon owner. Facts are he's in a contract year, so guess what? He needs to play to get paid, and that's working in our favor who own him. I will not be looking to draft him in my local this weekend. rajncajn
Idiot in my local 12 team dropped him this week. Unfortunately I doubt I will be anywhere near the bottom of the pecking order to take advantage. My luck, some good team having a bad week will pick him up. I've proposed it before and it always gets shot down. Maybe this time more people will listen. Edited September 10, 2015 by rajncajn

rajncajn
Well, I don't exactly remember each and every Huddlers waiver rules . sorry, I didn't mean we as in me and you specifically. I just seem to have a reason to complain about it every year and the solution and result are always the same.
HowboutthemCowboys
I feel you. I left a league this year, the main reason was worst to first waivers. Hate it
darkadun
Just did a draft and got Alshon. Fell all the way to the fourth round. Playing him as a flex. I was super high on him awhile back but now I've cooled off. I really hope he tears it up.

Given that you have pushed to get rid of this broken system and they won't listen, I would have no moral objection to you tanking week one to get Alshon. LOL, the thought crossed my mind, but I still think my bench will beat my opponent anyway.
cubdaddy
Even if he plays, a bad wheel will limit fantasy production...As a Royal owner, I'd like to think that he stands to benefit most, but believe it'll be Forte and Bennett that get the bump in targets... stevegrab
LOL, the thought crossed my mind, but I still think my bench will beat my opponent anyway. Even if you lose you won't be gauranteed to get him, so why throw away a win.
rajncajn
Even if you lose you won't be gauranteed to get him, so why throw away a win. We were both being facetious. I would never consider throwing a game for any reason, even if I knew the odds were it would cost me a championship.
Finn5033
I avoided Alshon like the plague as well. Even drafted Devante Adams over him in 2 leagues. Could end up being a mistake but I'd rather take a chance on a guy like Adams than deal with a gimpy Alshon all season Edited September 10, 2015 by Finn5033
Shorttynaz
I honestly think Alshon will be fine - but the Bears need to be careful about it. Sit him out the first few weeks and make sure his calf fully heals. If you force him out there and make him play through an injury, you're doing yourself a dis-service not only this year, but future years as well.. EDIT: FWIW - I didn't target Alshon in any drafts this year and own him in one league - which happens to be my biggest league I play in. I got him in the 5th round (10 teamer). Saw the value too much to pass up - even with his health being questionable at the time. Edited September 10, 2015 by Shorttynaz

BA Baracus
It will be a shame if this injury is a serious issue, because he is set to get a nice bump in targets.
MorningMud
I am depending on him (in dynasty league), but I would have had a hard time drafting him right now.
