Anderson owners... what now?

I mean other than picking up Hillman, which I did. Denver can't get anything going through the ground, this offense looks like it's hanging on by threads. It's hard to believe how different this team looks in one year.

What the heck am I supposed to do now, I drafted WR heavy in the league I have him and only got Ivory, Jennings and David Johnson. FML.

What are you Anderson owners planning on doing.

They figured out to stop putting Manning under center. Defenses are going to have to respect the pass again. The OL will improve. I'm going to keep starting him.

I joke about cutting him - but I'm not. Fortunately I'm fairly deep with a bunch of RB2's / FLX starters - so I'm just gonna sit Anderson on my bench until he does something. He'll be on my bench next week - so it's probably your queue to start him - he'll go ham..

I have two leagues where I can probably sit him and hold out hope and another one I have none choice than to roll him out there weekly... What a bad pick coulda went with much better choices like Julio or DT in all the above oh well hindsight is a fickle mother f@cker Edited by Sunday Couch Potatoe

im really glad i didnt buy in to him. didnt take him in any of my drafts. idk if i couldnt get a top 5 back then i was going for wrs, and most drafts i went wr wr. at this point im glad since julio, green, etc have paid off. ya never know though Anderson could come around, as long as its before hillman takes his job.

heres a little funny story while drafting.in one of my drafts i took DT first and was going to take Murray 2nd. since my ipad is a POS it wouldnt let me draft anyone and ended up giving me Julio. at the time i was aggravated since i wanted rb wr, but boy has it paid off now. thank u manurety ipad & crappy yahoo draft rooms.

At least I didn't waste a 1st round pick on him. Saw him sitting in 2nd round was like why not. Ugh still so much regret. Got so many trade offers for him before season too I'd take the first one that came my way if I could go back in time

I should mention that the two leagues I own him in are a dynasty (so no legit waiver options) and a keeper where he cost me a 4th rounder (and I kept Hill as a 5th...doh!).

In straight up redraft, I was taking Bell, Charles, or a WR in the 1st.

I'm playing the wait and see game. The only real positive is that neither Hillman or Anderson have been that effective. It seems like an O-line problem similar to the Eagles. I haven't watched enough Broncos games to know if it's something that is fixable or if it's broken until further notice, but I'm probably going to roll with another option this week. I have Latavius Murray and Ivory so as long as Ivory is healthy I'll sit Anderson and flex someone else.

I packaged him up with Mike Evans before this past game for Adrian Peterson. My thoughts were that even though Evans missed a game and was a dud in another, he would eventually come around. I did not however feel the same about C.J. Anderson. I felt if he had a third consecutive bad week it'd be almost impossible to get anything worthwhile for him. It's never a good idea to sell low, but FFB has a great deal to do with foresight, and if you don't believe he will turn it around, and that his value will continue to plummet (like I did) then try and get something now. Forget about where you drafted him - doesn't mean manure anymore. Look at it strictly in terms of value. CJA and Evans were my first and 3rd round picks, which I gave up for a first rounder. I made no hesitation.

Just my 2 cents.

at this point you got a steal. andersons been awful & while evans will probably come around, evans for AP is a deal & a half

Is there any reason I should not outright drop this bum? Any...at all?....and no this isn't an advice question....it's rhetorical

I'm with you. I feel like he has no value he's just taking up a roster spot when I can go and try to get a Karlos Williams while he's still there. I just don't wanna regret it if he finally comes around which seems unlikely

He's killing me right now in one league. I'm gonna bench him...but not drop him.

Per Roto:

Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said the offense needs C.J. Anderson to make it through a game healthy.
"We have to keep C.J. on the field. C.J. has been coming off the field the past three games because he's been nicked up," Kubiak said. "Things are going on, and we need to keep him on the field consistently." Anderson has missed time in the first three games with ankle, toe and head injuries. He has managed to play through all three ailments, but he and the rest of the Broncos running attack has struggled. The positive to take away from these comments is it sounds like Anderson is still the lead back over Ronnie Hillman. Anderson will be a low-end RB2 against the Vikings this week. Sep 29 - 10:45 AM

I wouldn't mind him sitting for a week or two so he can get closer to 100%...it's not like they have needed a strong running attack to win anyways....this way he can come back fresh and the oline should be stronger as a unit by the time he gets back on the field...

I'm not sure if he's over the toe and whatever else was bothering him, but he took a wicked helmet to helmet shot sunday that could have happened to anyone. Frankly, I assumed after seeing that that he was concussed for sure. I thought he looked healthy before that hit, the problem is, they keep trying to run him between the tackles and there just nowhere to go. The online blows. Jmo

I also posted (I believe in the game thread) that he and Hillman were both open alot for checkdowns, and I mean ALOT and Peyton never even glanced their way

I saw this a lot in the game as well, and I think as the Broncos start opening up the passing game more we should start to see those dump off passes come to fruition.

Yes I'm deluding myself to stave off the bad thoughts about CJ lol
