Michael Vick's impact on Antonio Brown

fwiw, vick had nothing to do with that ball brown dropped in the end zone...very catchable...also, tomlin's/haley's role in the conservative play-calling cannot be discounted, either...

Guest Ted Goings

Outlaw is the only person here who blamed the right people. Brown dropped a TD pass that was in his hands, and the play calling was for 10 to 15 yard passes, which Vick can't control.

If you are ready to get rid of Brown because of that game, you should find a new hobby.

I own Brown in two of three money leagues. In the third, the only realistic item I could trade for him is Julio Jones. The rest of my roster is ass right now (Alf Morris, Dez, DeShaun Jackson...not much else to work with in a trade). No way I would do that. Fortunately, I'm 2-1 and 3-0 in the leagues where I have him. No choice but to weather the storm.

But Ted, i will say this. Regardless of the play calling and the dropped pass...that's the best you can expect to get from Vick week to week against NFL starting defenses. I DARE him to prove me wrong, and you right.

Vick completed two "deep" passes the entire game. One before half, and one in overtime (from espn.com):

1st and 10 at BAL 33
(:26) (Shotgun) M.Vick pass deep left to A.Brown ran ob at BLT 17 for 16 yards.
1st and 10 at PIT 41
(11:56) (Shotgun) M.Vick pass deep left to A.Brown ran ob at BLT 42 for 17 yards.

These are what they call "deep" passes

can't say i didn't tell ya, but...

however, having said that, I've got Brown in 2 of my 6 leagues (and, wish I had him in all 6!)...I'm a solid "hold"...in fact, i was offered Gronk straight-up for him the week before Ben got hurt, and i turned it down (no regrets)...anyone who wants to throw him (Brown) my way now, I'll gladly take him off your hands...there's no doubt his #s WILL be down with Vick, but ya gotta look at the big picture...

Have Brown in one league and while last night wasn't encouraging, I'm definitely holding him. Conservative play calling in a close game with Vick making his first start in awhile was to be expected. If the Steelers get down in games they will be forced to throw and Brown is still good enough to get open. Vick will find him, not nearly as often, but he will.
