chud12
this is a 2qb...ppr league....here is the trade... give - tyrod taylor, stevie johnson, charcandrick west get - peyton manning, emanuel sanders this is what my team would look like after the deal... qb - matt ryan qb - cam newton wr - julio jones wr - julian edelman wr - demaryus thomas rb - theo riddick rb - charles simms te - antonio gates wr / te - emmanuel sanders wr / rb - allen robinson bench - cj spiller, delanie walker, peyton manning, , shane vereen, darren mcfadden INJ - brandon lafell obviously my rbs are strictly reliant on the catch as all of them excel in ppr formats for the most part... i realize trading a need (west) is a big deal but 2 be able to start 4 top 7 wrs weekly is a big deal as well... i would be trading west to the charles owner.... appreciate some input on this deal... Julio think u are?
imo tyrod for peyton is a wash. So it is Stevie Johnson and West for Sanders. Just because you are weak at RB and strong at WR, I`d have to lean toward no. But I do understand why you would like to have 4 WR like that. I also wouldn`t like two WR on the same team because of bye or if the team has a bad game, but that is just me
tebby
I don't like it. Brandon Lafell is going to be a solid PPR start when he returns from injury, especially with how the Pats offense is playing. Amendola hasn't done anything to take over the WR2 on that team. Meanwhile West could potentially be a starter for your team in a position of need. I don't see how Manning's situation is going to improve, that offensive line looks worse every week rather than better. Meanwhile Taylor has looked fantastic. I know Sanders is very appealing but you'd be giving up too much. Edited October 12, 2015 by tebby
chud12
thanks for the input... i could always trade allen robinson for an rb when lafell comes back... i look at it as this... is west going to out produce manny sanders from here on out?... even in a best case scenario i dont think that happens... just my initial thoughts.. its a tough call.. and how could manning for tyrod be a wash???.... tyrod has 133 points.. petyon has 83... Julio think u are?
Exactly, if anything I would rather have Tyrod than Manning. I guess you could say Manning has more potential. So in that case the trade is even worse for you. I just don't want Broncos on my team, so receiving 2 is just not a good idea
chud12
ofcourse i would rather have tyrod.. but i am most likely not going to be starting him most weeks..
Julio think u are?
Okay I thought you were someone that overvalued Peyton. This trade is a 3 for 1. With a QB1 and a probably RB1 for a WR1-2. I just would not do it.
chud12
u guys are all assuming west is going to lit it up... i am not.. i am trying to take advantage of the charles owner here... getting a number 1 wr for a qb i will never start most weeks and a guy i am scooping up on the wire who could easily do nothing and cede the job to davis the next week... that is how i am looking at it... and i kno it looks like manning is done... but remember last year when everyone thought brady was done??... well look how that turned out.. could peyton turn it around still??... sure... i look at it as buying really low on manning and selling high on tyrod somewhat... again.. do i think west outperforms sanders from here on out... no way.. hence y i am making the deal... but again.. thanks for all the input.. Julio think u are?
The Brady point is alright but weak. Peyton is older and has been fading for over 2 years now. You aren't buying low on Peyton though. You're overpaying. I understand the get West out quick part. But you can get more for him right now than Sanders. If anything do West for Sanders straight up. Don't lose out in QB too But it seems you are set on accepting, so go with your gut Edited October 12, 2015 by Julio think u are?
chud12
west for sanders straight up would never happen man... west is unproven and sanders is a top 10 wr ... and in ppr leagues hes even more valuable.. which is y tyrod is part of the deal..
