Dcat
CBS' Jason La Canfora reports Tyrod Taylor could miss "multiple games" with a sprained MCL, and that the Bills are preparing for E.J. Manuel to start against the Bengals.

tebby
Thank you fantasy gods. Â I thought I had finally got lucky on waivers. Â Wonder if I should drop him, have Tannehill on bench and waiver wire has fantastic options at RB this week.
doobwaa
maybe Watkins gets back on the field and EJ leans on him early and often.... Â wishful thinking

Guest Ted Goings
Party is over? You think a little thing like losing our top two RBs, our #1 WR, and our breakout stud QB is enough to shut down the Bills party? You must not know many Bills fans. We learned to live with disappointment a long time ago. Now we just laugh in it's face and keep drinking.

Guest Ted Goings
why? Because it is impossible to have longetivity as a 50/50 running/passing starting quaterback. Ben can come back from this injury and stand strong in the pocket. Tyrod depends on running the football to be effective and keep defenses on their toes. I shouldn't have put 50/50. It was pointless, when saying running QB would have sufficed. For the record, Tyrod does have LeGarrette Blount type numbers in terms of rushes and yards rushing. Â My point is valid.

I'd argue that he's only played 5 games at QB. All QBs w/ running skills rely on running when they start in the NFL. He's stayed in the pocket reasonably well overall. Also, he's been without a lot of his offensive weapons for the last couple games which has left him with little options.

He isn't exactly a rookie, and his days of being a running quarterback go back to being ranked as the best dual threat QB coming out of high school. He was a running QB the whole time he was at VT. His first TD in the NFL was a rushing TD. For you to imply that he is only a running QB now because he is just starting in the NFL or is missing weapons is ignorant. ReturnToSender
Tyrod uses his legs to extend the plays, like Ben, but does run more than Ben. Tyrod could develop into that type of QB, I wish him the best of luck on recovering. But remember, Ben takes a lot of hits, I would rather him sit out until he is 100%! Â Can all running QB's have the good fortune and stealth skills like Wilson? No. Will more of them get dinged like RGIII and lose their spots? Yes. Â Not perfect comparisons but I am trying to explain my thought process.

BA Baracus
I would say his frame is small. Â This is what makes him a risky mobile QB. Small guys who get hit like RB's tend to not last long. A guy like Cam, who is the size of a TE or OLB, can take way more punishment that a guy the size of TT.
Fedaiken
He definitely needs to learn to protect himself. They've been playing that bullmanure illegal hit that hurt his knee over and over again, and I believe that if he had just dived forward like many non-running QBs would do in that position, he would not be hurt today. Knowing when to slide and how to minimize a hit are key skills he will need to hone to sustain success in the NFL.

Right. Irrelevant. You are trying to say that his longetivity should not be questioned because he is still too inexperienced to be labeled a running QB. For some unkown reason, you think that style of football he has played since high school is irrelevant. Maybe he is going to grow another 4 inches and put on 30 pounds of muscle and become Cam Newton or Ben Rothlisberger? Are you Dan Snyder? You sound like you might be Dan Snyder.
