Scaling Bonus points?

So I'm throwing around the idea of bonus points, I'm in a couple leagues that do it, and I like it... to a degree. I really don't like the idea of 99 yards = no bonus points, or whatever you have the margin set to. Which is why I like to play with fractional scoring, so every little play matters. So I'm wondering if anyone plays in a league that does a scaling bonus point scale.

Something like 25 yards = extra 1 point, 50 yards = extra 1 point, 75 yards = extra 1 point, 90 yards = extra 1 point, 100 yards = extra 1 point and so on and so on.

Does anyone operate in a bonus point league that is set up this way?

Not a fan of bonus points. FF is arbitrary enough, but to just magically decide 50 yards is 20% more important than 49 yards is just wrong IMO.

eta: I don't mind small bonuses for long TD's as much. It rewards explosiveness, which is reflective of what's rewarded in games. There are a lot of donkeys that can rush for a 1 yard TD, but it takes a special play to jaunt 80 yards I was in a league that rewarded 4 for TD's over 40 and 9 for TD's over 75 yards and that was way, way too much. Keep in mind there's already extra reward for long TD's built into the yardage awards, so those can get out of control quickly. I'd suggest 1/2/3 for 41/61/81+.

I don't mind having 1 point for 100+ rushing or receiving yards and 300+ passing yards. Those are important milestones.

The trouble is when you go crazy with bonus points and is skews the scoring too far towards randomness.
