gilthorp
Yes - he'll play. I think we see him return on Thanksgiving night.

Boy Named Suh
Hope not...I want to ride the Langford train right to a championship. And I'm an MSU alum, and I would love to see a Big Ten rookie RB represent and give Gurley (and I believe Karlos Williams) a run for their money for the ROY. Boy Named Suh
I think Gurley has ROY wrapped up unless he gets hurt. 706 rushing yards in his last 6 games. Whereas Melvin Gordon is another in a long line of University of Wisconsin running back flops. SEC>Big Ten. Nice try...not biting on that, although I will admit that I thought the B1G would represent better. I actually thought that Coleman and Abdullah would be the ROY guys. I definitely think that Karlos should be in the running if he continues to produce as a backup. I would say he passes Gurley with a TD in every game for sure. I can't help it...I have to say it...TRENT RICHARDSON!
Boy Named Suh
What? Just trying to put your SEC>B1G statement in perspective. Every conference has busts, which I think is way too early to call Gordon BTW. I would like to point out that the best RB in the NFL is from the B1G, albeit injured currently. Boy Named Suh
And the Big Ten sucks. The SEC is filled with future NFL stars, especially with stud defensive fronts. Only The Ohio State University can compare to the talent in the SEC. Have a great night!
Boy Named Suh
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin. I love UW and I love the Big Ten. I wish the Big Ten was better. I'm not going to let my love for the Big Ten lead me to be delusional. The SEC is vastly superior to the Big Ten. Todd Gurley with his 5.5 yards per carry is a unique talent. He is not similar to Trent Richardson with his 3.6 yards per carry. Melvin Gordon with his 3.6 yards per carry is a much better comparison to TRich. You missed my point. I wasn't attempting to compare Gurley to Richardson. I was simply saying that every conference has RBs who don't live up to the hype. In this case Richardson is representing the SEC to counter Gordon for the B1G. The SEC/BIG argument has a lot of facets, and I don't want to get sucked into that in this thread. If you want to start a thread over in College Football, I might stop by. I might not though. I'm trying to not get emotional these days. I think he'd definitely be above Williams in any kind of ROY voting right now.
Boy Named Suh
No love for Amari Cooper? I think he'd definitely be above Williams in any kind of ROY voting right now. He should be in the running, but if Karlos scores a TD in every game he play in, I think he has to get it. Cooper has good yards, but he needs to turn them into TDs...4 TDs in 9 games isn't ROY level in my opinion.
kdko
Gordon is behind quite possible the worst line the NFL. I wouldn't pin all the blame on him. And this is coming from a Chargers fan
Boy Named Suh
Fair enough. At least we agree with our love for the Big Ten or the Big Fourteen or whatever it is nowadays. And Tom Izzo is a God! Sure looked like one tonight. I love that everone loves the guy regardless of who their team is.
BA Baracus
Diggs was making a case as well until the uber conservative Vikings offense finally dragged him down.
jkraft896
Diggs was making a case as well until the uber conservative Vikings offense finally dragged him down. Are you sure it is an uber conservative scheme or just having a running back that runs like a train?
Valhalla
Diggs was making a case as well until the uber conservative Vikings offense finally dragged him down. They are definitely run focused but most of the time the oline is like a sieve and Teddy has very little time to throw...unless they're playing at home, when they seem to block better. MothAudio
Are you sure it is an uber conservative scheme or just having a running back that runs like a train? Norv Turner may not be the best game manager but I wouldn't call him conservative?
