Boy Named Suh
Wondering if I am on the high end of post draft acquisitions with 38 (6-4,2nd) and 45 (4-5-1,6th) in two leagues so far. I have had an above average number of one week rentals this year with injuries and better options, but it still feels like I may be over managing. For the record, both leagues are 10 team, so it feels like there is always someone that I can't let stay on the wire. If you don't mind, say how big your league is for more accurate comparisons. Inziladun
Over managing for sure. I can't hark on ya because I do the exact same thing and I suspect a lot of people here do as well. I've already dropped players like Karlos Williams, James Starks, Devonta Freeman, Antonio Andrews, and so on. Simply due to over-managing and not waiting out investments. Although to be fair I only really regret dropping Devonta Feeman. That said you can still catch lightning in a bottle by switching out multiple players weekly, so it depends on your game plan. I've been trying to work on the fact that I tend to not wait long enough before making decisions and have failed miserably this year at being any better (in fact i've done worse.) In comparison I'm at 34 moves (10-man) and 45 moves (12 man) and 34 moves (10-man autodraft.) I suspect that these numbers are bordering on ridiculous, and it kinda shows my indecision with many roster moves i've been making all season. EDIT: Record (10-Man) 34 moves 8-2 (ranked 1st) Record (12-Man) 45 moves 6-4 (ranked 5th) Record (10-Man autodraft) 34 moves 6-4 (ranked 3rd) Edited November 18, 2015 by Inziladun

I have a solid core of players in both leagues, but there is always a bench spot or two that has just been a revolving door of guys who don't play. I think I'm being clever by stashing Tevin Coleman the week before he comes back from injury or I'm convinced that Ted Ginn is going to magically become Randy Moss. I just did it again stashing Ajayai. In my mind, he is a great stash for playoff time, but I will probably decide he is expendable next week. It is borderline insanity. loaf
Would be curious to see a team's record with these posts, too... my team with 18 moves is 5-5. 3rd overall in points but have played the high scoring team twice while being the 2nd high scoring team. Along with some other bad luck like Antonio Brown losing Big Ben 13 move team, I'm 7-3 and in first. Actually tied with another 7-3 team but I've got more points and beat him in our only H2H meeting. The high mark for moves in this league is 33 and that team is 4-
Running Wilde
Total of 49 acquisitions in a 12 team IDP (6-4 1st Div & 4th Overall). To be fair though it is IDP, so there is a little more churn there, and I started the season in a hole having to cover for Romo & Dez. I just went back through my transaction history and there really isn't anyone I regret dropping, it was mostly fill-ins for injured players and speculative adds. Boy Named Suh
Went through my transactions and one thing that I wasn't really adding to the equation is that I have been streaming defenses and kickers to a lesser degree in both leagues. Definitely inflated my numbers.
Boy Named Suh
18 acquisitions, 5 - 5 (12 team league) 17 acquisitions, 8 - 2 (8 team league) 29 acquisitions, 4 - 6 (14 team league) 44 acquisitions, 7 - 3 (10 team league) This is interesting to me in that your lowest number is in the 8 team league. Seems like the deeper pool would mean more transactions. Maybe the original teams are good enough that you don't need to drop anyone. Larger sample size will be interesting to see. If you have half a clue you can draft a solid enough team in an 8-man depending on competition. Wouldn't need to make too many moves outside injuries. It just feels like there have been so many underperforming high round draft picks this year that I personally would have been all over the free agent pool in an 8 team this year. Agreed but imagine this team, plagued by injuries and under performers in an 8-man and rebuilt around the WW. QB: Bortles, Dalton WR: Marshall, ODB, Stevie Johnson, Stefon Diggs, Martavis Bryant RB: Charcandrick West, Doug Martin, Giovani Bernard, DeAngelo WIlliams TE: Barnidge, Julius Thomas Now imagine there's a ton of available talent on the WW still... who am I gonna drop at this point? Bortles for Carr? Bernard? Stefon Diggs for Amendola? Julius Thomas seems like an obvious drop in an 8-man but what's the point lol is what I'm getting it. the outlaw
I play in 6 leagues, but similar to BNS, I tend to have a core team of solid players I've drafted, the aggressively works the FA/WW to churn for the "hot pick-ups"... 8 - 2 (1st Place), 14-teams, 34 moves 5 - 5 (5th Place), 10-teams, 26 moves - oddly, I started 5 - 0 with this team! 7 - 3 (1st Place), 12-teams, 17 moves 7 - 3 (1st Place), 12-teams, 27 moves 5 - 5 (5th Place), 10-teams, 32 moves 7 - 3 (2nd Place), 10-teams, 20 moves - these transactions cost $5 each, and this is my main local (team in signature) league I'm all over the place! MothAudio
This is typical as I always lead the league in acquisitions. No limit / No fee. Works for me. W-L-T PTS FOR PTS AGAINST ACQUISITIONS 6-4-0 1217.28 1264.86 43 W-L-T PTS FOR PTS AGAINST ACQUISITIONS 7-3-0 950.60 740.20
bburdett
12 Team League PPR & .5PPRA - 25 Acquisitions - Record 2 - 8 Lost 6 then blew up my team and have gone 2 - 2 since. 5th highest scoring team in the league, but 1st in points against by a hundred or so points. Draft killed me, but been a bit unlucky as well. Current team is in sig, but I'll include my draft below. 1 - CJ Anderson - Dropped 2 - Jeremy Hill - Dropped 3 - Brandin Cooks 4 - Jordan Matthews - Dropped 5 - Arian Foster - Dropped 6 - Jarvis Landry - Traded 7 - Isaiah Crowell - Dropped 8 - Eli Manning 9 - Sam Bradford - Dropped 10 - Kendall Wright - Dropped 11 - Cody Latimer - Dropped 12 - Ravens D/ST - Dropped 13 - Cody Parkey - Dropped 14 - Tyler Eifert - Dropped
