Apothus
Please tell me his knee didn't tear something. I'm trying to make my last playoff push. There is literally no one of quality left on the wire. My receiver core is down to A. Brown, Decker, and Amendola with Michael Floyd and Rishard Matthews. Does anyone know the extent of Amendola's injury?

Coolhandsean
Prob an mcl sprain if I had to guess. Decker only missed a game so he could still pan out for the people that picked him up on waivers last week.

gilthorp
Even if he is not OUT, how quick will he be? Essentially, his impact will be very low.
ReturnToSender
And Dobson out, who else is a WR on the Pats?
gilthorp
It's going to be ugly, because LaFell is not a fit for their core scheme - he does a nice job proving an alternate, but he's not the player they need to make that offense roll. Whoever that #14 is deserves a look in deep rosters I guess.
colkurtz
He came back in for a kick return after the initial injury. Limped off after that but doesn't appear to be a major injury. But even a more minor sprain could keep him out or hurt production. Either way looks to be an unfortunate positive for Lafell owners. darin3
Bet Welker is kicking himself now. Coulda been reunited for one last run, instead he's catching passes from Case Keenum.
loaf
Amendola is the definition of injury magnet.
bburdett
Looks like he has a sprain and MRI confirmed no extensive damage. They are going to see how well he responds to treatment, but at this point they haven't even ruled him out for the Bronco's game. Probably should though, no need for him to get knocked around by one of the best defenses for the sake of an undefeated season...

I'd be afraid for him in NE now. Imo Brady threads it in to him over the middle like he did Edelman and he'd get killed. Edelman takes Godawful hits every wk

I thought Edelman was way smaller but he's actually 10 pounds heavier and just a smidge shorter. Edited November 25, 2015 by darin3

darin3
I didn't realize that either Yeah, and as a HS and college QB, I suspect his body is just more "used" to getting hit. One hit to Amendola and he falls like a house of cards.
