colkurtz
Was looking around at some of the matchup rankings for possible last minute trades before playoffs. I noticed there is often a big discrepancy between QB and WR rankings. Why is that? For example, scout lists Jacksonville QB as having the most favorable schedule (I sorted week 14-16 which is my playoff), but its WR only the 22nd best schedule. I would think the two would be more or less correlated. Throwing to RBs could skew things, but only so much.
Montana is da Man
Throwing to TEs would skew it a bit as well.
Shaft
Good point. I always notice because I have Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. I'm not sure what goes into the metrics, but things to consider besides passing to wide receivers, but not limited to: passing to TEs and RBs, sacks, interceptions, QB rushing, completion %, total yardage, and etc. Edited November 25, 2015 by Shaft
Boy Named Suh
I would say you are both on the money...the Defense may have shut down the QBs throwing to the RBs and TES, but given up some points to the WRs. QBs that run for yards and TDs are going to skew that alot too, especially in leagues where the QBs only get 4 points for a passing TD and 6 for the rushing TD and 1 point for every 10 yards rushing vs 25 passing.
