jailbirds
The waiver process has always been a mystery to me. This week I am looking at two free agent pickups. I like Javorius Allen and Ahmad Bradshaw. I will put in for both. I am 5th out of 12 in the order. I placed Allen as my first pick. If I someone else picks Allen before me, is my second pick looked at immediately when my name comes up or do I go completely around the whole order before my 2nd pick is looked at? Someone who knows , please explain this situation to me. Take me to school like a 5th grader.
Inziladun
It's priority based. Think of it like queuing up picks for a draft. Obviously the highest priority will be picked first. If he's taken... next pick will be taken. You waiver order will then be reset to 10th (or 12th or whatever) and move down depending on how many people will make claims after yours. If you wanted Buck Allen OR Bradshaw, you would queue them up in the priority you prefer and drop the SAME player so you do not end up grabbing both.
