the outlaw
I lost a semi-final tiebreaker last week (Week 15) in my primary local (with about a $1,500 1st Place purse at stake) when I started Chris Ivory over Doug Martin. I also started Aaron Rodgers over Ryan Fitzpatrick. Had I started either Martin or Fitzpatrick I would have won the semi game, and my Week 16 point total surpassed my would be opponent's, meaning I would have won it all...instead, I was competing for the approximately $200 3rd Place consolation prize and got my @$$ handed to me (again)...so, to say I'm a tad bitter with myself over starting Ivory (and Rodgers) last week, resulting in $ZERO vs. $1,500 is the understatement of the year! Misery loves company, so what boneheaded move(s) cost you a championship this year?
Dolphin_Akie
Benched Jordan Reed for Delanie Walker in my final which was totally bonehead but to be fair I'd have still lost if I'd started Reed, thats how bad this week was for me and I even managed to start Bortles over Big Ben. BA Baracus
Swapping in Cameron Artis-Payne over Karlos Williams about 2 minutes before kickoff in the Huddle Ladder All Pro Championship game. Dropping Newton instead of Manning in week 1 in my most intense league. Continuing to start Lacy throughout the season in my work league. He pretty much singlehandedly torpedoed that season. Once I look through all of my MFL10'S, I will come back and post more.
Footballjoe
I lost in the Championship this week by 17.5 points. I could have won if I would have started other players. However my worthy opponent could argue the same thing since he could have gotten more points off of some of his bench players. You make a choice on who to start based on what they have done, what they are expected to do and your gut. I just live with it.

the outlaw
Aaron Rodgers was my Eddie Lacy this season. While I didn't draft him, I was able to trade for him before Week 2, striking a deal with the owner who kept him, but also took a mid-round flier on Brady before his suspension was lifted and no one else would touch him that early. Anyway, AR gave me a few really nice games, but by and large was a huge disappointment. But yet,, I kept sticking with him down the stretch, hoping "this" week was the week he (and the Packers WRs) would get their manure together...it was like chasing the end od the rainbow...aside from poor o-line play due to injury and depth, who "really" knew that losing Jordy would have such a crushing impact on AR? I certainly didn't... Edited December 29, 2015 by the outlaw

To compound the issue I used my second round pick on Cobb. Well I don't think anyone saw Green Bay's struggles coming to the degree they have this year. When you have Rodgers your going to play him even though it turned out nearly every week there was a QB on the waiver wire that scored more points than him. I am curious to see where Rodgers get's picked next year with Jordy coming back. I bet he won't get drafted nearly as high as this year, even though he very well could return to being the top QB Edited December 29, 2015 by Finn5033

We don't have an IR slot, and I needed the roster space, so I had to let Jamaal Charles go after his season-ending injury...that decision will probably come back to bite me in the ass next year, as well... bud29
Pretty much every pick but Danny Woodhead in the ladder. Probably the worst team in my FF career. Also, buying into the Tannehill hype in multiple leagues.
CowboysDiehard
Drafting Jeremy Hill in two leagues, pairing him with Eddie Lacy in one of the two. I still made it to the championship with the latter roster, though lost. Won't draft either ever again.

Seems like there was always someone floating around on the WW who could be a helper.
sksmith
Not my biggest by any means, but what happened to Charles Johnson (MINN WR)? I think I got him in rounds 5 or 6 in a couple leagues and dropped him by week 4. Never looked for him again until now as I'm comparing draft roster vs playoff roster; he's scored nothing since week 9, is listed as questionable with an ankle, but clearly hasn't been IR-ed

Hindsight is always 20/20, but i wish I had had the stones to draft Bortles in the league i'm talking about! i was very successful with him in three other leagues this year... loaf
Had I started Hightower over Latavius Murray or David Johnson, I'da won the Super Bowl...lost but less than 5 points. And his Defense was the Cardinals, who put up the most weekly points by a defense the whole year this week.

And his Defense was the Cardinals, who put up the most weekly points by a defense the whole year this week. I don't think you can really count that as a "bad decision" or "regret". Sucks it turned out that way, but you cannot foresee that, and anyone who starts Hightower over D. Johnson in that situation is incredibly gutsy (and most people would say foolish). I could see argument for regretting not starting him over Latavius, but I would still choose Murray.
