delfamdelfam
they fired him before the last game because if I know Chip, he would of tried to win that last game and ruin the Eagles draft pick. Firing him now makes sense as it gives them the best chance at losing the last game.

Finn5033
He took a good team and destroyed it. I'm a little surprised they did it now but not surprised at all that they let him go.
Shaft
Hmmm...how does this affect Murray's value looking forward.
stethant
He took a good team and destroyed it. Destroyed is exactly right. Have we seen such a thorough dismantling of an organization's years of work in such a short time?
peoplehater
Im a little shocked at the timing but he was not liked here by the fans, media and most of the team. He let go D jackson for nothing, not even a water bottle.
the outlaw
Hmmm...how does this affect Murray's value looking forward. Probably depends on who they hire, but IMO, certainly can't hurt his value...
Wolverines Fan
I don't know much about Jeffery Lurie, but it looks like he was smart enough to see that things weren't working and it was time to cut his losses. Anybody else think Kelly turns up in Tennessee? Edited December 30, 2015 by Wolverines Fan

darin3
If he doesn't follow his boy Mariota to TEN, I could see him coaching in Texas. No, not the Cowboys or Texans.... UT Longhorns. They may have had enough with Charlie Strong and UT has some weapons that would fit the Kelly offense.

Wolverines Fan
Kelly seems more like the type to go back to college Thought about it a little more. I think he goes back to college. We all know there's a big difference between coaching 18-22 year old college kids and grown men who are paid to play. Edit: forgot to say it sounds like he wasn't getting along with the paid grown men. Edited December 30, 2015 by Wolverines Fan
Shaft
The Seans are laughing it up, meaning DeSean and LeSean. Let's see: Andy Reid--->playoffs Maclin---> playoffs Desean Jackson--->playoffs Nice job Philly!
peoplehater
I could see him going back to college but he has huge ego so i think he will roll around in the 13 million he is owed and take whatever pro team will take him. I am thinking Lurie asked chip to relinquish the gm duties and he said no. (again the ego issue)
