Took a stab at it, we'll see what happens. Very needs-based, but due to some awfully big disparities between talent level at some positions, I think we may see quite a few "best player available" picks on draft night. Some positions (DL, CB) are absolutely loaded.

1. Titans - Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss - Need to protect their shiny new QB.

2. Browns - Jared Goff, QB, Cal - Cleveland really needs to go QB, and I think Goff has regained the lead in this QB crop

3. Chargers - Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame - Chargers OL has been terrible as well

4. Cowboys - Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State - A Bosa/Gregory duo on the edge could become awfully scary, and would be much cheaper than extending Hardy.

5. Jaguars - Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida - Their secondary badly needs a lockdown CB, and I think Hargreaves could fit the bill. Amari Cooper said Hargreaves was the toughest CB he went against in college.

6. Ravens - Jalen Ramsey, CB/S, Florida State - Ravens' secondary also needs some help. Ramsey is a top-notch athlete, I believe he was planning on being an Olympic sprinter if football didn't work out.

7. 49ers - Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis - Has some mechanics issues that really need to be ironed out, but still, SF needs a QB and Lynch probably has the best arm talent and most upside out of all the QBs in this class.

8. Dolphins - Myles Jack, LB, UCLA - Needs to check out medically after suffering a serious knee injury this season, but the Dolphins need some help at LB and Jack is a stud.

9. Buccaneers - DeForest Buckner, DE/DT, Oregon - Tampa could use a quality interior defender to pair with McCoy, and Buckner is pretty good value here. Could be picked in the top 5-6, IMO.

10. New York Giants - Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame - Smith is another super studly LB who suffered a leg injury this season, but if his recovery is progressing well, the Giants might not be able to pass him up here.

11. Chicago Bears - A'Shawn Robinson, DE/DT, Alabama - The Bears could also use a LB here, but with Jack and Smith off the board, I don't think there's another LB worthy of being taken this high. Rookie Eddie Goldman has done a pretty decent job at NT this season, and now Chicago could continue upgrading their DL by putting Robinson at one of the DE spots.

12. Saints - Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson - Much like Hargreaves, Alexander is a bit undersized but extremely talented. Brandon Browner has been awful in New Orleans, here's his replacement.

13. Eagles - Desmond King, CB, Iowa - This might be a bit high for King, but the Eagles need some CB help. Smilar to New Orleans, their FA CB signing (Maxwell) has been badly under-performing.

14. Raiders - Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU - This makes 5 CBs in the top 14 picks, which I doubt will actually happen. But a lot of the teams in the top 20 have awful secondaries, and Oakland is definitely one of them.

15. Rams - Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss - The Rams need an infusion of talent in their WR corps, and Treadwell is the top WR in this class. Big, strong, aggressive receiver who has drawn comparisons to Alshon Jeffery and Dez Bryant.

16. Lions - Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State - Detroit's OL play has left much to be desired, and Decker can shore up one of the OT spots. Interior DL might be at play here, too.

17. Falcons - Robert Nkemdiche, DT/DE, Ole Miss - Nkemdiche is a top-5 talent, but some character concerns may drop him a bit. The upside might be too much for Atlanta to pass on here.

18. Colts - Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State - Frank Gore was pretty unspectacular this year, and Elliott is a very well-rounded 3-down RB.

19. Bills - Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson - Buffalo is planning on cutting Mario Williams this offseason, leaving a pretty big vacancy on the edge. Enter Lawson, who has been very impressive even against some of the top OTs in college football.

20. Jets - Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama - The Jets' ILBs have not been very good at stopping the run this year, and stopping the run is Ragland's specialty. He is very limited in coverage though, most likely reducing him to a two-down thumper role in the NFL.

1. Titans - Laremy Tunsil (OT - Ole Miss): Stud OL to protect Mariota. Almost makes too much sense, which means it may not happen .

2. Browns - Joey Bosa (DE - Ohio St.): Browns can take QB later. They have to go after an impact defensive player here and getting local-ish boy Bosa is the way to go. He's not the next J.J. Watt, though. Better comp is Jared Allen, which isn't terrible. If I were the GM, though, I'd trade down.

3. Chargers - Vernon Hargraves (CB - Florida): The Chargers' D was woeful and their main problem was run D, but they can't ignore Hargraves who would give them two nice young CBs for years to come. Pretty much BPA here.

4. Cowboys - Myles Jack (LB - UCLA): Sean Lee is always hurt. Rolando McClain won't be worth the money. Jerrah loves athletes with a wide skill set, and Jack could even be used at RB in certain situations. The knee injury shouldn't be of much concern. Gives the Boys a stud LB for years to come.

5. Jaguars - Jalen Ramsey (S/CB - FSU): The Jags have a nice set of young up-and-comers on offense, but were woeful against the pass. He may be a better safety but can play corner. Johnathan Cyprien is a stud but needs help.

6. Ravens - Ronnie Stanley (OT - Notre Dame): Thinking Ozzie Newsome may go big on D here but they already have a couple of good young DLs so I'm going with the huge OT to improve run blocking for the Ravens' offense. This guy's huge with long arms and has a ton of upside.

7. Niners - Jared Goff (QB - Cal): Debated on Paxton Lynch here since many consider him the best QB prospect in this draft, but SFO will succumb to local pressures. Colin Kaepernick is a failed experiment, new HC needs to build with a "face of the franchise". This pick could certainly change depending on who comes in as HC.

8. Dolphins - DeForset Buckner (DE - Oregon): If the Fins don't take Buckner here there's just something wrong. Cameron Wake is not getting any younger and is coming off an Achilles tear. Olivier Vernon is good, but there's a chance he doesn't resign (they could/should franchise him, but still). Buckner is a beast of a man and Miami needs a better pass rush.

9. Bucs - Emmanuel Ogbah (DE - Oklahoma St.): The Bucs have zero pass rush. None. Ogbah put up good stats in a pass-heavy Big 12 and his game would translate well to the NFL, especially with 6 games against elite QBs every year. May actually be a safer pick than Buckner.

10. Giants - Shaq Lawson (DE - Clemson): Considered Ole Miss' Robert Nkemdiche here but Lawson is more of a difference maker. Another team that's had limited pass rush for years now, even with JPP around. This gives them some insurance if JPP never returns to form or someone to balance out the other side of the line.

11. Bears - Jaylon Smith (LB - Notre Dame): This is a big leap of faith pick here. Assuming that the knee injury he sustained can be rehabbed in a decent time period, the Bears would be crazy to pass on a talent like this. If Jack were still here, they'd probably roll the dice on him, too. If Smith's injury is considered something that will keep him out for years, they'll go elsewhere.

12. Saints - Andrew Billings (DT - Baylor): The Saints need help pretty much everywhere, on both sides of the ball. But their defense was simply atrocious, getting absolutely no pressure on the opposing QB AND letting RBs run wild on them. Billings is super talented and could shore up the middle of the Saints' DL for a decade.

13. Eagles - Paxton Lynch (QB - Memphis): Chip Kelly's gone and Bradford's a free agent. Maybe they resign Bradford to a short deal to hold them over and mentor Lynch, who is a big, strong-armed pocket passer with some decent mobility. Kind of in the Big Ben / Bortles mold. After the cluster-eff that Chip Kelly brought to Philly, they have to start at the top and work downwards.

14. Raiders - Leonard Floyd (DL/LB - Georgia): Khalil Mack is a mega-stud, imagine what'd happen if they had a comparable DL/LB hybrid on the other side? Well, they got a peek at it when Aldon Smith was in town, but he's a] suspended and b] a free agent anyways. Floyd is BPA here and the Raiders, with a nice young core on offense, could use another difference-maker on D.

15. Rams - Connor Cook (QB - Michigan St.): Another no-duh pick. Nick Foles isn't the answer, neither is Case Keenum for that matter. Cook is not an elite athlete but one of the best "game managing" QBs to come out of college in the past few years. He could be the leader of this team from Day One.

16. Lions - Jack Conklin (OT - Michigan St.): Now Connor Cook's protection goes. Riley Reiff looks to be staying at LT and Conklin is better suited to line up on the right. He can open up gaping holes in the run game and is a solid pass blocker.

17. Falcons - Robert Nkemdiche (DL - Ole Miss): He's slipped a bit in some folks' eyes and while Vic Beasley looks like a nice pass rusher on the outside, they need someone that can play inside. Nkemdiche put on weight that allowed him to move inside and still flashed a ton of brilliance in terms of rushing the passer.

18. Colts - Ezekiel Elliot (RB - Ohio St.): They need a corner but this addresses a need and there will be corner talent in the next few rounds. This is also a "splash" pick as the Colts rebound from a disappointing 2015. Frank Gore will be 33 at the start of the 2016 season. With a healthy Luck and the pass game opening up holes in the run game, Zeke could be HUGE.

19. Bills - Ashawn Robinson (DT - Alabama): Kind of shocking an Alabama guy has lasted this long. Robinson is huge and exactly the kind of space eater that Rex Ryan loves on the interior of his DL.

20. Jets - Scooby Wright (LB - Arizona): The Jets haven't had a steady force at ILB in years. Wright is an A-plus athlete that can rush the passer from the ILB spot and cover.

Just for tacos and giggles, here's my stab at a post-combine, post-FA (sorta) mock.

1.01 Titans - Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss - Still makes the most sense here, although some Jalen Ramsey rumors are heating up.

1.02 Browns - Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State - I think this will be similar to the Jaguars' selection of Bortles a couple years ago. Better players on the board? Yes. But do they need a franchise QB badly? Yes. Wentz isn't ready to start on day 1 IMO (like Bortles), but has some serious upside.

1.03 Chargers - Jalen Ramsey, FS, Florida State - Eric Weddle signed with Baltimore, leaving a gaping hole at FS. Enter Ramsey, a stud athlete and DB who will fill in nicely.

1.04 Cowboys - Myles Jack, LB, UCLA - The Cowboys' defense is noticeably better with Sean Lee on the field. Problem is, he's rarely on the field. Jack offers that same kind of impact, but isn't made of glass. Possibly the best player in this draft.

1.05 Jaguars - Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State - Signing Malik Jackson shores up the interior DL, now Jax turns back to the edge. Bosa and Dante Fowler should make a young, exciting DE duo.

1.06 Ravens - DeForest Buckner, DE/DT, Oregon - Great player that fills a huge need. Should be an easy pick for Baltimore.

1.07 49ers - Jared Goff, QB, Cal - Cali boy stays in Cali. I think Kaep still gets traded before the draft.

1.08 Eagles - Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State - There are some Paxton Lynch rumors surrounding the Eagles here, but they already gave Bradford AND Chase Daniel pretty decent contracts. They need a RB, and have a stud staring them right in the face here.

1.09 Buccaneers - Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia - Signing Robert Ayers was a quick fix to the pass rush, but he's still 30 years old. Floyd offers more of a long-term solution.

1.10 Giants - Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame - After making several splashes in free agency, it seems clear that the G-Men are trying to make one last push before Eli retires. Here they add another T to help keep him upright.

1.11 Bears - Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida - A couple of the Bears' biggest needs coming into free agency were ILB and DL. Both got addressed with the Trevathan, Freeman, and Hicks signings. Hargreaves makes quite a bit of sense here, as they're a bit shaky at CB behind Kyle Fuller.

1.12 Saints - Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor - Aaron Donald comparisons get thrown around too much for small DL prospects any more, but Billings is actually one player who deserves it, IMO. Potential to be a total game-wrecker.

1.13 Dolphins - Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson - DE was a big need for Miami even BEFORE they let Olivier Vernon walk and signed 31-y.o. Mario Williams to pair with 34-y.o. Cameron Wake.

1.14 Raiders - Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson - David Amerson and Sean Smith is a fine starting CB duo, but behind them, things are still pretty bad. Oakland looks scarier and scarier with each new addition.

1.15 Rams - Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis - A bit of a project pick, but I really doubt the Rams win many Super Bowls with Case Keenum or Nick Foles at the helm. They need a franchise QB, and Lynch can be that guy.

1.16 Lions - Laquon Treadwell, WR, Lions - Welcome to Detroit, Laquon. You are tasked with filling the shoes of Calvin Johnson. Enjoy!

1.17 Falcons - A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama - If you need a DL upgrade in this draft, you're in luck. Falcons could certainly use one.

1.18 Colts - Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State - Colts need help in the trenches on both sides of the ball, and Conklin can help. Grigson might take a punter.

1.19 Bills - Noah Spence, DE/OLB, Kentucky - Spence has a checkered past, but does appear to have cleaned up his act. Very talented edge rusher that the Bills can pair with Jerry Hughes.

1.20 Jets - Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama - Jets pretty much have nobody but David Harris at ILB.

1.21 Redskins - Darron Lee, LB, Ohio State - After losing Keenan Robinson to the Giants, the Redskins are very weak at LB. Lee is a fast, dynamic LB in the mold of Telvin Smith who will bring some energy to that poor defense.

1.22 Texans - Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor - Stud athlete and ridiculously good production in college. Coleman will be a nice compliment to Hopkins, and now the Texans' shiny new QB has quite the arsenal of weapons to work with.

1.23 Vikings - Josh Doctson, WR, TCU - Mike Wallace was not compatible with Teddy Bridgewater and the Vikes' offense at all. Doctson is a tall, lanky WR with great leaping ability - think AJ Green, DaVante Parker - and should fit in much better as their WR1.

1.24 Bengals - Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame - WR run! Bengals have to be disappointed they didn't get one of the top 3 WRs, but Fuller is no schmuck. Ran a 4.32 40 at the combine.

1.25 Steelers - Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State - Ross Cockrell emerged as a pretty solid CB, but Pittsburgh could still use some help there. Apple has the size/speed/length combo and should be a solid addition to their secondary.

1.26 Seahawks - Cody Whitehair, OG, Kansas State - With Sweezy and Okung leaving in free agency, Seattle's shaky OL certainly didn't get any better. Huge need for them.

1.27 Packers - Jarran Reed, NT, Alabama - Out goes BJ Raji, in comes another big (yet surprisingly quick) NT.

1.28 Chiefs - William Jackson III, CB, Houston - Sean Smith's departure leaves the Chiefs pretty thin at CB. Jackson is a fast, sticky, man cover CB who would fit in well with Marcus Peters and Phillip Gaines.

1.29 Cardinals - Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville - The Cards' pass rush got quite a boost with the Chandler Jones trade, but their interior DL is still Calais Campbell and then everyone else. Rankins is a big help, and really good value here.

1.30 Panthers - Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson - Jared Allen retired and Charles Johnson is only back on a one-year deal. Dodd has been flying up draft boards and would be a good selection here.

1.31 Broncos - Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Ole Miss - Lots of risk, but the potential is monstrous and the Broncos could use someone to replace Malik Jackson.

Just for tacos

I mean...it is Tuesday, so obviously

From a fantasy standpoint (and I've not paid any attention to mocks yet to know if your call on this is probable or not), if Treadwell goes to DET, a somewhat juicy landing spot (right?), does such a situation potentially close the gap between he and Zeke at the fantasy draft 1.01 position?

Personally, I think Coleman and Doctson are closer to Treadwell than Treadwell is to Elliott. I think Zeke is on a tier of his own, and then Treadwell/Coleman/Doctson might have to be sorted out by landing spot.

I like all the WR landing spots save Doctson, but that's a Bridgewater issue. Sitting on 2, 4, and 7 in one league, might be an all WR haul if no good trade offers

Well that depends on where Zeke goes. And even so, it's a cavernous gap. It would take Zeke going somewhere that makes no sense to spend the pick, like PIT or STL, to even make it a conversation.

Saw this on Walterfootball today:

Jalen Ramsey Now Favorite for No. 1 Overall Pick

By Charlie Campbell - @draftcampbell

In mid-January, sources with the Tennessee Titans said their preference was to trade down from the No. 1 overall pick and target a defensive back like Florida State cornerback/safety Jalen Ramsey. If the Titans were stuck at No. 1, the initial favorite was Ole Miss left tackle Laremy Tunsil. This week, sources with the Titans have told WalterFootball.com that Ramsey is now the favorite to be the No. 1 pick. They love the Seminoles defensive back on and off the field. To be clear, the pick has not been decided, and Tunsil is still in the running, but sources say that Ramsey is now the leading candidate to be the first-overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft.

For months, many around the league thought that Tunsil made the most sense. The Titans do have a good young left tackle in Taylor Lewan, who was taken high in the first round in the 2014 NFL Draft, but Tennessee led the NFL in sacks allowed last year, and they have to protect young franchise quarterback Marcus Mariota. However, Titans sources say they may sign a veteran tackle in free agency to go with Lewan. There are some veteran options available in the form of the Bengals' Andre Smith, Raiders' Donald Penn, Seahawks' Russell Okung, and Steelers' Kelvin Beachum. If they sign one of those veterans to a quality contract, that would increase the chances of Ramsey being the first pick.

Sources named Tunsil and Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa as being the other contenders for the top pick. In speaking to scouts, general managers and directors from multiple teams, they said Ramsey was phenomenal in the Combine interviews. The Titans feel that Ramsey was an alpha dog on a team filled with alpha dogs in college, and they say that he is an "awesome kid". Sources say that Tunsil and Bosa did "okay" in the Combine team interview, but they didn't express the same enthusiasm and fervor for either of them that they did for Ramsey. With Ramsey, they compare him to Richard Sherman and Charles Woodson as a corner and safety, respectively.

Staff at the Titans say that it isn't settled yet. Tunsil and Ramsey have their pro days at the end of the month, and of course, the pre-draft visits will be a factor as well. Last year, and the year before in December/January, sources at the Buccaneers and Texans told WalterFootball.com that they had leaders for the No. 1 pick (Jameis Winston, Jadeveon Clowney) and they ended up sticking with those players throughout the lead-up to the draft. In 2013, Kansas City changed late to Eric Fisher, and it appears this year, the Titans are in the midst of a more fluid situation with Ramsey having pulled ahead of Tunsil as the current leader for Tennessee.

I can tell you this much, they are not taking Bosa. He's not a fit for their defense.

Yeah, I don't like him as an OLB. Really needs to be in a 4-3.

If TEN take Ramsey, Browns need to take Tunsil, or trade the #2 to somebody who wants their choice of the remaing top guys (Tunsil, Bosa, Goff/Wentz). But then I've never been in the camp of "we must take a QB at #2 who knows when we'll draft that high again". And since they signed RG3 I see even less need to reach for a QB.

Browns fans (the OSU homer contingent) keep saying they should take Bosa, and he'll fit and be a beast in any defense. I don't know a lot but most people I trust (including you guys here) seem to agree Bosa not a good fit for 3-4, and that is what the Browns will run.

I think Tunsil is the safe pick, everyone wants a great protector for their big QB investment, but the Titans already have Taylor Lewan who is no slouch. Ramsey has shot up the board (not that he had far to go), but the guy is apparently rock solid on AND off the field. I'd be shocked if he's not the #1 off the board.
