Wolverines Fan
Mike McCoy gets to stay, but Reich is thrown under the bus. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/9327/frank-reich Was Reich the problem?
Zooty
The D wasn't very good. A mess of injuries to WRs, hobbled TEs and no real true RB (just a good scat back). Guess the OC was the low man on the totem pole between the GM, DC and HC. He'll get another job and have a hugh comeback...again

They had to make a "shakeup" move and guess this was it. But honestly, they should have fired the DC. The entire receiving corps was decimated and their first-round RB was a complete bust. They have some talent on D and let folks run through, around, and over them repeatedly.

gilthorp
I would be thrilled to have Perryman anchoring the Bears defense for the next 10 years.
kdko
^ I was saying earlier this year that once Perryman figures it out he's going to be a stud for a looooong time. There are few linebackers that can hit a RB running full speed at the line of scrimmage and knock them flat on their ass like that. Franch Reich wasn't great, but McCoy needed to go to. He has no personality, and can't inspire a team. He's a good OC, but not HC. Pagano deserved to keep his job. You can't blame a DC when they're on the field the entire game playing completely exhausted. I mean, we generated 5 turnovers in our last game against Denver and couldn't do ANYTHING with it.
