His family is and always has been rich. He's what..........23 years in the making? If he makes or not in the NFL he is still set financially which so far doesn't seem to be all that good of a thing for him.

The latest on Johnny locally, he was pulled over last Saturday (the day he flew to Vegas and partied through the night, in disguise) with expired plates (expired in September) and was issued a citation ($100+ fine). This happened early in the morning, probably when he was on the way to the team facility where they reported he was present for treatment/exams related to his concussion.

I can't believe I am saying this or that it's actually true, but based on character Jameis Winston has had a much better transition into the NFL than Manziel. Of course Winston has also had a better playing transition as well.

The Manziel apologists will tell you that if the Browns were not morons and put him in the starting line-up game 1 of his rookie season he would have developed better. But since they didn't just hand him the starting job and made him compete with Hoyer he gave up, spent the year pouting on the bench and being a frat boy. So when they did finally need him, he was totally unprepared.

I think it makes sense for ALL quarterbacks that are drafted to spend their first several years on the bench learning and adapting to the NFL style and speed.
