DMD
They always did if you took out more than $600 in profits. Interesting that they would make any withdrawal now need it.
rattsass
Yes, and as a matter of fact, the last time I even tried to DEPOSIT in fanduel they demanded this information, even though I had previously given it to them. I told them, through email, that they had it once, and that was the only time they were going to get it. This is all a result of government intervention, their plan to tear down the industry is well underway. Close off half the players and annoy the living crap out of the ones that remain. Bingo. BA Baracus
This is pure laziness by Draftkings. Rather than taking the time to determine who they actually need to get a W9 from, they are requiring everyone to submit one. What's worse, is that they say they are required to by law if you question what they are doing. They are either idiots who don't realize that a W9 is used to report income, or they are just trying to collect a bunch of SSN's. Â I tried to withdraw what is left in my account and they won't release it until I submit a W9. I have had net losses there and this is just a withdraw of prior deposits. They are illegally holding my money and they want my SSN as a ransom. I have already filed a complaint with my AG and will file a BBB complaint as well. Â At this point, IMO, these @ssholes deserve every bit of hell they have coming to them. Edited January 13, 2016 by BA Baracus

After a while they will have to send it to the State as unclaimed property and you can get it back from the State.
Shorttynaz
Another reason not to play.. They don't even need the bad publicity - they're doing just fine ruining themselves..
