Montana is da Man
Now Kaepernick will stay and we'll have a crappy QB and a crappy coach...........good times ahead Edited January 14, 2016 by Montana is da Man
darin3
I'm not sure what I think about this as a Carlos Hyde dynasty owner.
Montana is da Man
Hyde is their best offensive talent when healthy. He should be used allot

Grits and Shins
Well ... there is almost no talent already in SF that he can get rid of ...
tazinib1
Kaep isthe perfect fit for that offense. So is Hyde imo
tazinib1
Oh and go buy stock for UHaul moving boxes in SF. All wives have been put on notice to start prepping.
Montana is da Man
I understand the 49ers wanted to go with an offensive mind, and maybe Kelly will get Kaep to play better, but I just don't see it. Â I expect him to wear out his welcome quicker than Harbaugh did.
Sunday Couch Potatoe
Lets just bury him before he even puts the whistle on for the niners. I for one am going to try and be optimistic hell the guy is a good football mind 43-7 at Oregon and 10-6 in his first 2 years in Philly. I'm definitely happy about the chance at being better l mean it doesnt get worse than the last place offense in the NFL. Don't forget that Kaep was great when he was able to use his legs to his advantage. I will wait and see before I make anymore judgements about it. I'll let the 90% of others that will judge have at it all off season. Edited January 14, 2016 by Sunday Couch Potatoe
stevegrab
Would be glad to hear he's keeping Kaep, as that would end the rumors that Hue Jackson wants to bring him to CLE. Â I can understand trying to be optimistic with a new coaching hire, I've been doing it for 15+ years and now I guess an 8th coach.
Scorcher
49ers are already decimated so it won't make any difference. Edited January 14, 2016 by Scorcher
Sunday Couch Potatoe
They have a lot of money to spend under the cap so some talent can be had
Sunday Couch Potatoe
Ha now that's funny... A few local sports stores here in the Bay Area had Kaep jerseys on clearance the last month or so and today they are off the clearance racks and back at full price

I hope I'm wrong, I hope Kaep will revert back to 2012 - 2013 Kaep. Chip Kelly should be able to bring out the best of him. However, I would have preferred a more seasoned coach. gilthorp
As a Kaep dynasty owner, this gives me a glimmer of hope. At least he might get a shot instead of buried as a back up somewhere.  I don't feel it will end well for CK though.

stevegrab
RGIII Â Maybe, not sure what to make of him and if he can rebound. It isn't worth us paying a lot though.

stevegrab
There is somebody draftable for fantasy on EVERY NFL roster, that nonsense is spouted every year about some teams. "Oh don't draft anybody on the Browns", sure OK, Gary Barnidge kicked ass (3rd in TE scoring in my league).
BIGDAWGS2
You know what I mean. Chip has screwed every running back he touched, every other position was erratic. Yes there is someone you might draft in late rounds but, at your peril. Go ahead my formula wins for me, I could care less about yours.
