DMD
Not football really but worth the read IMO. I already liked him - now I have even more respect.
BA Baracus
Good post. The story of DT's mom has been surprisingly under reported.
Shaft
That's beautiful. I'm a HUGE DT fan. I also think it was nice that Manning told DT to give the game ball to his mother. Manning always does the right things. LOL http://news.yahoo.com/demaryius-thomas-mom-received-special-152548592.html
Finn5033
That is a cool story about him. He certainly is more forgiving than me. I'm not sure I would be able to forgive my mother so easily. But then I have no clue what that would be like so what do I know.

Judging how these guys act, what they do once they make it. These are the kind of stories that NFL Network does well in their Football Life specials. The one about Brandon Marshall and his dealing with social anxiety was very interesting, made me look at him quite differently. Love the DT story (still reading it), and a big fan since I had him on my fantasy team his rookie year.
Rileyrott
DT's had a hard road to get where he's at. What a great story.
pun
Good on the prez for commuting her sentence. Great article. Hopefully stories like these that connect real issues to the celebrated athletes we care about will help people understand how tragically flawed the war on drugs and the prison industrial complex are. In other words, it's equally tragic if it happened to Demaryius' neighbor's mom. The one about Brandon Marshall and his dealing with social anxiety was very interesting, made me look at him quite differently. I think it was a lot more than social anxiety, but for sure I have so much respect for Marshall since hearing him speak out about it. BA Baracus
Marshall has Borderline Personality Disorder. And yeah...that was a really good 30 for 30. Also, I like him in his analyst side job. He could have a nice career in commentary after football.
Montana is da Man
I've heard about this before, but it's very cool reading it from DT's perspective. I've always liked him as a player, and he really seems to be a good human being too.
