AX2RUN Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 Watching NFL Network this morning and they played a clip from a Goodell press confrence regarding the pro bowl. Cutting through the fluff, he essentially said "it needs to be competitive or it needs to be removed". Now I personally can't stand the new format. I agree with Michael Silver on this, give me AFC vs. NFC in Hawaii AFTER the Super bowl. If they won't do that then I think the game should be cut. At least the NBA and MLB try to attract fans with fun things and we know it's going to be a shootout/slugfest. But the probowl is just blah... You can't be competitive when players don't want to get hurt (I don't blame them)and referees are blowing their whistles the moment an offensive player with the ball is even looked at by a defensive player. Not even a fantasy football like draft of players televised live some night Feel the same about most All-Star games, meaningless exhibition.
