AX2RUN
Can't say I'm suprised. But when healthy (yeah, I know...) he's such a great talent I have to think he gets another shot with somebody. Maybe join his old coach in Denver ? Edited March 3, 2016 by AX2RUN
Dolphin_Akie
Probably get a shot elsewhere but I think his days as a bellcow RB in the NFL are over.
AX2RUN
Agreed. He'll probably get a 1 year deal that's heavily incentivised based on play time.
Shorttynaz
Ryan Grigson (Colts GM) has a great track record of signing stud RB's and RB's past their prime.. Trent Richardson, Ahmad Bradshaw, Frank Gore  Why not add Arian Foster to that list...??? Edited March 3, 2016 by Shorttynaz

DMD
Foster is broken down. He has not played a full season since 2012 and missed 23 games over the last three years. He already talked about retiring in the past. I'll be surprised if he lands elsewhere and shocked if he is installed as the primary back.

He won't get much money if he does go elsewhere. His injuries are an extra detriment to him in an already stout RB free agent market. Â But like I said initially, when healthy (however infrequently that may be) he is a great talent. And I think that if he decides to continue playing, somebody will bring him in for a year and give him a few carries a game and play him in passing downs. After all, they're "just a player or two away from the SB" They can get Roddy White too!  I still can't believe Grigson was kept on.

darin3
I could see Foster going to Cleveland. Would he want to go there though? Is he a "I want to win" guy or just a "I want to play" guy? Â I'm obviously in the minority in that I think he has a little bit left in the tank. Yes he's injury prone, but man... when he's healthy he's a beast. Â I don't see the Browns offering and older and injury prone RB money to come here, it doesn't really help the team build its core. We need help at WR, and pretty much all across the D (pass rush on DL and LB, a safety to replace Gipson who is probably leaving in FA). Â Hue Jackson talked up the current combo of Crowell as the power back and Duke Johnson as the pass catching back but that could just be hot air. Still think the Browns have so many holes that they improve elsewhere at this stage unless Foster is cheap.
michaelredd9
http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/335801/pats-showing-preliminary-interest-in-foster?ls=roto:FA:topheadlines Pats showing 'preliminary' interest in Foster According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, the Patriots have shown "preliminary" interest in free agent RB Arian Foster. Despite his impressive resume, Foster has been greeted by crickets this offseason. New England's running game was nonexistent last year after LeGarrette Blount (hip) and Dion Lewis (knee) were placed on injured reserve. Adding another aging, injury-prone back to the mix probably isn't the best solution, though Foster could prove to be a worthy flier if he can stay healthy. Foster is coming Achilles surgery and is still a week or two away from being able to pass a physical. stethant
He's 30 years old coming off an Achilles injury - no way this turns out well. Or, what DMD said. Â I do think the Pats could benefit from a veteran runner and he can catch out of the backfield. Would be better if he had 2 working legs. michaelredd9
He is probably toast. But if he thinks he can play and Belichick thinks he can play, then I'll take a flyer on him.
gilthorp
I would say he is an upgrade over S. Jackson.
Scorcher
If he does play this year he won't make it through the whole season: staying healthy will be an issue. His days of being a workhorse back are over.
