Shaft
I've always been an A. Morris fan. He's a smart kid on and off the field. I love that he drives a hoopty. I hope he gets another chance because he still has a lot of gas in the tank.
michaelredd9
Alfred averaged 3.7ypc last year which concerns me a little. However, Matt Jones averaged 3.4ypc, so maybe it was the offensive line's fault. More troubling is Alf has averaged only 12 receptions and 91 yards receiving per year since joining the league 4 years ago. It's hard to start a running back in PPR which such low receiving potential.
pun
I think Howboutthemcowboys wants him on the cowboys more for actual football purposes, not fantasy. It's a foregone conclusion that al-mo is not a pass catcher. But he had 1600 yards and 13 TDs the year the skins were good. On a good team, with a good line, he can do damage.

Shaft
Now this will make things interesting. My bias towards liking him has screwed me over the past 2 years due to his under performance in that messy Redskins offense, but I kept drafting him as a low-end RB-2. I think the Cowboys will give him a legitimate shot to be the bell cow, and here I am considering drafting him again.
Shaft
Signed 2-year contract with the Cowboys Wow...they got him pretty cheap. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/15040471/former-washington-redskins-rb-alfred-morris-sign-two-year-deal-rival-dallas-cowboys Former Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris will sign a two-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys, his agent confirmed to ESPN. The deal is for two years, worth up to $5.5 million, including $2 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The former sixth-round pick from Florida Atlantic became a Redskins fan favorite as a rookie.RB Alfred Morris started strong right out of the gate in 2012, rushing for 1,613 yards his rookie season with the Redskins, a franchise record. AP Photo/Nick WassMorris, 27, rushed for a franchise-record 1,613 yards as the Redskins captured the NFC East title in 2012. He benefited from the zone read option, but also excelled out of any look in the Redskins' outside zone system. His overall production dropped each of the next two seasons but he was still an effective runner. In his first three years combined, Morris rushed for more yards (3,962) than any back in the NFL except for Seattle's Marshawn Lynch. And the two of them shared the top spot for most gains of 10-plus yards with 110. Morris also rushed for 28 touchdowns in this period. This past season, Morris finished with 806 yards overall and one touchdown. He averaged career lows in yards per carry (3.7) and yards after contact (1.45). Morris has the most carries in the NFL over the last four seasons with 1,078.

AX2RUN
He's still just a 2 down back? Maybe, but how many 3 down backs are there really left in the league anyways?
Shaft
He's still just a 2 down back? Yeah, he's always been that, but there aren't too many legitimate 3 down backs in the league anymore.
