Since I don't see a great Eagles season no matter who is the QB this year, I want Sammy the Sissy to play just to take the verbal abuse..... and then Carson Wentz gets his fresh start either late this season or at the beginning of next season. DMD Posted May 9, 2016 Share Posted May 9, 2016 Bradford knows he's a short-timer and I can empathize with not wanting to be in a dead end job that might hurt his career chances. But the reality is that he's never really done anything more than average and maybe not even that. He had no other teams begging for a trade to get him. The problem for fantasy is that now you sort of have to assume a time-share scenario with Wentz almost certainly coming in to be the starter at some point. The Eagles have a Week 4 bye so Bradford most likely will be starting then but later in the year I don't want to suddenly need my #2 QB to step up and suddenly he's pouting on the sideline. darin3 Posted May 9, 2016 Share Posted May 9, 2016 (edited) . How? It was a 3-person "dispersal" draft. Rodgers, Rivers, Manning and Bortles were available to draft. Naturally, Rodgers went early (Packer fan), then Bortles. Figured I could wait since both new owners both had QBs. Then one dude inexplicably took Manning... so I figured I had at least a few rounds to wait and snag Rivers.... until the same guy took Rivers a round after. Edit: The rest of my team is the shiat, though. I just need to find a QB in RFA or spend a high pick on Goff.
