IM going to try to do better explaining this......

 

If I keep Bell, I will have the following FOR SURE.

 

Jordy Nelson.... costs me a 10th rd pick

Cam Newton....... costs me a 7th rd pick

Bell...... costs me a 1st rd pick.

So I would have those THREE players and no 1st rd pick, and my 2nd rd pick would likely be about the 8th pick in the draft due to other players also losing their 1st rd picks based upon who they keep.

 

 

If I trade him I would keep:

Nelson

Newton

But I dont think I would keep Anderson, I would keep Eric Decker because he costs me only a 9th rd pick, Anderson would be a 5th rd pick.... maybe it was a 6th..... BUT if I go this route, I would get the third overall pick (gained by trading bell) PLUS I would now keep MY FIRST RD PICK, which would be about the 6th pick, PLUS Id be picking about 2 picks after the 6th pick due to the 2nd rd coming right back around after my 1st rd pick.

 

 

IM thinking trading Bell is just the best thing to do as I would essentially be getting 2 1st rd picks plus Eric Decker for him.

 

Oh, it is a full point ppr league... thats why those receivers are so important, and Decker for a 9th rd pick is an absolute steal, as well as Nelson.

 

So IM thinking with the third pick in the draft, Id be able to make up for losing Bell, plus Id pick a couple picks later with my own 1st rd pick.

 

So would you trade Bell or keep him?

I would trade Bell, keep Nelson, Decker, and Newton. I agree that Nelson and Decker are steals at those rounds, and Newton for a 7th is good value, as well. That 3rd overall pick and keeping your 1st rounder more than makes up for losing Bell.

 

However, if all the top RBs are kept, you could have problems, even with the 3rd and 6th picks.

IM speculating based upon other teams' rosters. Here is what Im thinking will be available

 

My HOPE is E Elliot, and I will draft him if he is available.

J Charles

L Mccoy

D Martin

E Lacy

CJ Anderson

Matt Forte

J Stewart

J Hill

D Lewis.

 

If Zeke is not available to me, I would draft AJ Green or Brandon Marshal 1st, then come back with my 2 and 3rd picks and get running backs because I feel the rest of the available RBs will be ok, but I will not be able to get another WR of that caliber later. IN any event, I have decided to make the trade as that gives me the absolute most number of top players within the first 3 rds of the draft.

 

I HATE trading bell, but oh well.
