Best place to pick in 10 team PPR snake draft and your strategy?

Recommended Posts

I dont really go into any draft with a set, I am going to do this or that. You never know who may fall to you in leagues. I do have a preference for drafting later in the round though. Reasons for this are,

1. Someone might fall and you are there waiting on them.

2. You get a better second round pick than the earlier round guys.

3. It is easier to work out who might be taken after you based on how teams are looking in later rounds, with less picks between yours.

I seem to nail my second pick on a regular basis drafting late in the 1st round. So in a 10 team league I would like to draft in 8 - 10, 7th at the earliest.

Zig where they zag. Otherwise, you end up chasing trends in a draft. As a general rule, it sucks to go all for one position early like WRS as it makes you stuck hunting for RBs when there could be good WR value out there. Taking a WR with your first two picks could make sense since those first couple of rounds have more "no-brainier" types, but don't ignore better value just to be stacked at WR.

To answer your question, I think in the middle (4-6) is best so you aren't too much on the back end of position runs.
