Draft opinions

Recommended Posts

I have 4th, 8th and 14th in my drafts this year with 8th being my normal positional spot. Acquired the other two picks via trade last season. Anyways, 14 team .5ppr league with return yards and one flex spot. My keeper is ODB so im off to a good start regardless. Other top keepers are nuk, david johnson and lamar miller. I have no 2nd or 4th rd picks. I cant decide to go julio/aj/jarvis landry (hes a stud in this league due to the return yards) or go leveon or gurley/aj/either top rb or wr. Im willing to roll the dice this year on rbs and go with players like gio, hyde or woodhead and get them in the later rounds to really have a strong wr core and strong wr at the flex. Rbs are just so inconsistent besides the top few. Curious on everyones opinions. Real issue is whether or not to grab a top rb early and sacrifice the flex spot or chance the lower boom or bust rbs in rounds 3/5/8

I feel like there are more WR options than there are RB options, so I'd be inclined to take either Bell or Gurley with the 4th overall. Then you can possibly get another stud WR with the 8th (assuming Zeke, Bell, Gurley, and Charles go before then, that would mean at most only 3 other WR are taken before that spot). Even in a .5 PPR league, a solid RB is important, and with OBJ as your keeper, you have a great start for WR, and you can fill that out with your 8th and 14th overall, then get a guy like Woodhead later.
