cmutts
12 team league, standard scoring, all tds 6, 1 ppr. Start Q/2R/3W/T/K/D. We have various keeper roles but anyone from last year drafted in first 4 rounds can't be kept. My options and the round they cost: Q - Carr - 12 R - Hyde, Hill - both ADP week prior to draft(late August) R - Bernard - 4 R - D Williams - 12 W - Landry - ADP W - Parker - 8 W - Wheaton - 10 Snake draft, picking 1.11, 2.2, etc Thanks Edited July 23, 2016 by cmutts
Zooty
Hyde (unless his ADP sky-rockets) Parker- over Landry as better value and same team. It would be different if the 2 WRS were Holt and Bruce or Nelson and Cobb Wheaton- this was a tough one for me. I'd probably say Landry but with Hyde you would be losing 2 pretty high picks. I don't like the Hill/Bernard mess and D. Williams (DeAngelo?) is not great value to keep a 4 week player when you have other options. I can't see keeping a QB even with good value
MTSuper7
I agree with Hyde as a good choice here, contingent that he doesn't all of a sudden jump up to the early 3rd or better. I might also suggest DeAngelo Williams if you have an early pick and can secure LeVeon. Even if you don't have Bell, I am a huge fan of getting out to a fast start which he can help you do. It's just hard not to look at the value in the 12th round combined with the risk that Bell could always get hurt or skip another drug test. How soon do you have to lock your keeper in? Otherwise, Carr for a 12th isn't a bad play either, as he has decent upside with an improved O-line, Cooper continuing to improve, etc. - I also like the idea that it affords you the ability to focus on position players in the draft and wait on drafting a 2nd QB to pair with Carr. Picking Carr might give you the most flexibility for your draft, but I think you really have to believe that he will continue to improve with the ability to finish as a top 6 or 7 QB. QB seems watered down this year once you get past Rodgers, Luck, Cam. Carr, to me, is just as capable of 4,000 and 30 as anyone in that next tier. cmutts
Hyde and Hill haunted me all last year. I was lucky to grab Williams off waivers and lost in finals. My first pick is 1.11 and then 2.2. Bell could be there at either spot. 6pt tds definitely make Carr an option. League has been around for over 15 years and a stud QB always helps. Raiders OL much better than a year ago and Carr could end up top 10. If I kept Carr and Williams they would cost me my 12th and 11th round picks. Great value for both. i think out keeper deadline is 8/20 with draft 8/26.
