This year, you must Keep 1 player in the round you drafted him. You are also allowed to trade draft picks. I did a lot of waiver wire work last season, drafted really fortunately, and traded my blue blanket balls off all season, and I ended up with Todd Gurley (6th round keep), OBJ (2nd round keep), David Johnson (10th round keep), and Allen Robinson (11th round keep) among others (see also: Foster, Nelson, Rawls, Gordon, Stewart). Enough background. You can see own quite a bit of 1st round talent. SO... I couldn't say no when offered a 1st and 2nd round pick this year for the rights to Todd Gurley (6th). This gives me the 8th, 10th, 11th, and 13th picks in the draft this year. I think that I made a great decision, but my stomach won't stop gurgling. Did I mess up? Or did I just have some bad Taco Bell for lunch? What strategies would you employ with these keepers and draft capital? TL;DR - I traded Todd Gurley (6th round keeper) in order to get 4 picks in the first 2 rounds of a Keep 1 draft. Did I mess up? That's 4 players that will solidly your core. Good work No offense taken... I drafted AP, Foster, Stewart, Robinson, DJohnson... I got really lucky with those... also drafted Nelson, CJ, Kelce, Eli... not so lucky there. I waivered Gordon late, Palmer and Rawls early, DeAngelo twice, and other high performing guys like Aiken and West and Ware and Reed and Carr, among others. The Gurley owner was getting creamed and was desperate to make the playoffs, so he let me have Gurley for 3 guys. Same thing with OBJ. Neither team made the playoffs, and I got away with their toys and won the league. I'm not popular... 'Cause I'm a "try hard."
