Keeper Trades, PPR Auction Draft League (so no trading picks)

16-team, auction draft keeper league ($200 budget). Play 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 Flex. Keep up to 4. Trying to get David Johnson as a keeper and trying to figure out an enticing deal. Listed are the potential keeper guys on both teams and their keeper values (keeper values increase each year kept).

 

My team: Julio ($65); OBJ ($67); Jordy ($7); Keenan Allen ($23); Woodhead ($8); D. Will ($6); Kelce ($25); Carr ($8)

 

His team: ARob ($18); Decker ($16); Mike Evans ($36); T.Y. Hilton ($46); David Johnson ($6); A. Gates ($10); C. Palmer ($15)

 

Currently my keepers are Jordy, Allen, Woodhead, and either OBJ or Julio. However, I'm thinking of proposing a trade:

 

Give: (Julio or OBJ) and (Jordy or Allen)

Get: David Johnson and ARob.

 

Then I would keep DJ ($6); ARob ($18); either Jordy ($7) or Allen ($23); either Julio ($65) or OBJ ($67)

 

In a PPR league, is it worth giving up years of Nelson or Allen to get years of David Johnson and ARob? Part of me would rather keep Nelson, Allen, Woodhead and another stud WR for next year, but it's hard to pass up a couple or years of potential studliness with DJ and ARob.

I would do Jordy and OBJ for those two. Keenan is too valuable in a PPR to get rid of and although I love OBJ, I think julio is better for PPR purposes.

 

But you can't get rid of Keenan here. Before he went down he was a PPR maniac and should be the same this year.

 

So I would try and hold onto Julio and Allen and snag DJ and ARob. Your WR's would be insane.
