HowboutthemCowboys
Those that have drafted, where'd you pick? Were you happy with? Where would you like to have been?
millworkguy
so far my only ppr draft, i had 10, i think i would have prefered to be more 7/8 this year, historically i liked going 12/13 at the turn and grabbing 2 wr's, but times have changed and rb's don't fly off the board the way they did as little as 2-3 years ago. The aforementioned draft had 4 of the top 5 picks being wr. brown, jones, odb hopkins gurley, with green, dez robinson bell, gronk, johnson jordy and allen rounding out the top 13 picks.
Zooty
Prefer to be 1-6 or on the turn at the end I have a top 6 this year (was 7, Mr. Bell ) so that's my basis. Been doing a bunch of MFL10s but keep pulling 4 for a tier 2 decision.....
loaf
Make the best out of what you're handed...since playing this game from 1997, I've found that it doesn't matter what number you start from.

But all 3 of my league you pick your own spot. And part of the fun for me leading up to the season is mocking from different spots and seeing what goes. Just wondered what others were seeing.. Apothus
I prefer pick 1 through 3, but if I fall outside of that I want the 10 spot. 9 is decent-ish
Carr4MVP
I like the balance at spots 6,7 and 8 always picked there for some reason.
michaelredd9
I want a top 3 pick. I'll take Antonio, Odell, or Julio and then take 2 more receivers on the 2nd/3rd corner. And then I'll take 2 running backs on the 4th/5th corner. Running back is by far the position with the most talent in rounds 4 and 5. And then I'll snag the 8th best tight end and 8th best quarterback on the 6th/7th corner. Everyone is receiver crazy now. It'll be nice to get quality receivers before it dries up during the 3rd round.

Scooby's Hubby
9 kinda stinks, unless Lev Bell wins his appeal. Now, 9 could be the best, but only if some of the 1-8 owners make a mistake like taking QB (yes, I still have a couple of those guys in my locals ). Scooby and I have 9 out of 14 in one of our locals. The draft spot debate really comes down to how efficient owners are in the early picks. darin3
Really depends on your league, and not just scoring. I did a 10-team non-ppr put on by ESPN Radio Los Angeles yesterday and absolutely crushed it from the 10-spot. Being on the turn really let me scoop up value that had fallen QB - Brees RB (start 2) - Martin, Hyde, D. Murray, Henry, Blount, Coleman WR (start 2) - Bryant, Cooper, K. Benjamin, Moncrief, Matthews TE - Fleener, MIller Flex (RB/WR) PK - McManus DEF - MIN
BA Baracus
If I get a choice, I want a top 3 pick this year. Otherwise, I don't much care where I land.

Only have to reach a half round to get those target guys. On the ends I end up just taking whatever value falls, which is not what I generally like to do, I'd rather get my guys.
