JackieTreehornProductions
We use a blind bidding system for FA aquisitions on my ESPN league. In the past, we were able to specify exactly when we wanted those bids to be processed each week...Tuesday at 8pm, or Wednesday at noon, or whatever. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore, and I can't figure out when the site intends to process the bids. Under their description of the system it says... "Teams will have a specific budget with which they can bid to make player acquisitions and all bids are processed after the league's specified waiver period. If a team would like to add a player, that team will secretly bid an amount they are willing to pay. On the waiver process day, the team with the highest bid will be awarded the player, and the bid will be subtracted from that teams budget." Paragraph 1...."All bids are processed after the league's specified waiver period"....well, our specified waiver period is 1 day...but the waiver period was always a totally different thing in the past - that's been for guys that are dropped. Are they saying bids are processed 24 hours after each player's game? 24 hours from when? Paragraph 2..."On the waiver process day...." well, what is the waiver process day!!? Anyone familiar with this that can help me? ESPN provides no support whatsoever - they just refer me to the FAQ's, which don't provide an answer. Thanks! Shorttynaz
In my past experience with ESPN, I think the default time is like 12:00a pacific time Wednesday morning (or Tuesday night if yer still up). Not sure of that's the case - just speculation
