anismith
I was offered OBJ for Zeek? I am thinking hell yes, but am I missing something? My team below. 10 Team Standard scoring league. QB: Phillips Rivers RB1: Zeek RB2: CJ Anderson WR1: Brandon Marshall WR2: Alshon Jeffery Flex: Mike Evans Flex2: Demarco Murray TE: Colby Fleener DST: Cardinals Bench: Ryan Matthews, Charles Sims, Jordan Matthews, Steve Smith Sr, Richard Matthews, Kamar Aiken, Matt Stafford, Alfred Morris, Devante Booker Edited August 25, 2016 by anismith
Finn5033
I would say yes. But then you will need to make a trade for a RB. You have the WR depth to do it

Piranha-z
Hmmm, I don't think I like that trade. You have a fairly solid WR corpse. So I look at what the point difference would be from losing Zeek and adding OBJ. It's close IMO, but I would rather have the depth at RB. You already have the depth at WR. Piranha-z
Look at it this way. Right now you have a top 5 RB. Murray is barely breaking the top 15 and Anderson is out of the top 20 in most lists. Marshall, Jefferies, and Evans are all in the top 15. So if you trade, you get one of the best WR's but your best RB is a 15 at best. I just don't see how that can help you. I can start 4 WR's or else I'd completely agree with you, it would be silly to trade away OBJ for Zeek. I general I like higher ranked WR's as they are less lilkely to be injured and more impossible to replace.
robotpimp
I like it... let someone else take the risk with Zeek yr one, OBJ is a perennial stud he'll produce as much or more than Zeek.

But maybe having 4 solid WR's would make up the difference.
fishwife
Get OBJ. Then trade a WR for someone a bit higher ranked than Anderson. As a perennially disappointed Bears fan, I'm skeptical that Jeffrey will put up big fantasy numbers with the way our offense runs. Might be the best one to shop around. Yeah, I think Jeffery might be hard to shop. People are down on him... I really like him. We'll see if he can remain healthy, if not I have some WR backups. Maybe I'll try to move him if Jeffery has a good game or two.

anismith
Thanks guys! I went with OBJ. My receivers are just killer now: OBJ, Marshall, Evans, and Alshon all as starters. I don't hate my RB's that much. Edited August 25, 2016 by anismith
AoDay
I would trade Zeke for OBJ regardless of whether you keep your current roster or try and shop one of your WRs off. Position scarcity would matter if you were forced to sit one of your other WRs to slot in OBJ but given that you have 2 flexes you are ultimately just comparing OBJ to Zeke. Even if you assume they have similar fantasy production, which I doubt they will, OBJ has more experience and is a safer pick.
mow7
I would have accepted as well, but I would try to make a deal for Derrick Henry so you're RBs are insured. He shouldn't carry an overwhelming price tag.

steelersarepoop
How did you get zeke, Marshall, Jeffrey and Evans in first four rounds? You draft against idiots? Lol
kdko
I'd pull the trigger. I think Zeke is going way too high for a rookie that hasn't played a down yet. Obviously he's a complete back that fell into the best possible situation, but he'll have to stay healthy for a 300+ touch season to make his ADP worth it IMO. OBJ is a stud who most likely won't be injured. With all that other WR depth you could unload for another RB.
anismith
How did you get zeke, Marshall, Jeffrey and Evans in first four rounds? You draft against idiots? Lol It was a keeper league that I inherited. The team was terrible and I kept no one. So I got to draft 3 people before anyone else and then in the 4th with only one person ahead of me.
