Grits and Shins
I have an inkling that we watched the changing of the guard in that Seattle game. Just a gut call that Romo might not get his job back. He shouldn't ... at this point in his career he is too fragile, can't be relied and and in all honesty is flirting with life changing type injures. byroz
LOL this literally had me laughing. One question though...what happens with Romo if Dak is winning game after game and he returns? who do you start? Romo pisses me off.

Easy, when Romo is fully healthy which will be the far end of his recovery if Dak is winning, he gets thrown back in there to keep winning. Romo has proven he can carry this team deep into the playoffs. Dak has not. It would be the same thing if Brady, Rodgers, or any other elite starting QB went down and was healthy. Romo no different. However, it sure would be nice to know we have a QB in the wings ready to get the job done should anything happen. Eights
Romo seems to have many follies while playing against Seattle, regardless I read, I laughed, I cried and I cheered for you as I too live and breath my team and I get it. Yes I have witnessed a rookie QB come in and play like he gets it, not a fourth rounder but a third and his name is Russel Wilson, welcome to the party and enjoy the ride! Football will be fun once again for the faithful Cowboy fans, Romo is done.

I'm only going to say this once so pay attention for this will be the last time I address you. Maybe you don't realize this but you obviously have some mental disorder. That really doesn't matter. The simple fact is everything you post is looked upon like that kid in special ed that keeps wanting be a part of the crowd but can't because he doesn't have any resemblance of social skills. Therefore, you're ignored and seen as an idiot. Even when you think you make a comment worth reading we are reminded by the fact that the post was made by a clown and becomes worthless noise. You have made such a fool out of yourself that you have completely lost all respect. Sadly you have no idea that every time you post you don't realize you're doing so with your pants down around your ankles. So let me give you a piece of unsolicited advice. Sit down at your computer, tablet or what ever you pull up this forum with, go to the search function and pull up all of your posts. Take your time and read them thoroughly. Once you have finished them all and IF you still believe you're normal, immediately find a good psychiatrist. However, if you finish them all and come to realize what we've already determined about you, just leave and we will all understand. Again find a good psychiatrist because you'll probably hate yourself. Over time we may find a measure of respect for you since you had the respect for us to relieve us of your presence and check out once and for all. Now if for some reason you feel the need to justify yourself please don't bother. You are going back to ignore as soon as I finish typing. Good luck and I hope you find the help you need. stevegrab
We all know you spew nonsense and sometimes it is amusing, but do you REALLY want us to believe that you equate the LSU, Auburn and Alabama defenses on the same page as PROFESSIONAL defenses??? Do you really think Dak Prescott is going to walk off the field after playing the Giants in week 1 and say, "Meh, LSU had a better defense"? Really? I know you are a sh*t stirrer and like to "mix it up" but statements like this one makes me wonder about your knowledge of football. You guys must have more free time than me and tolerance for tools like InToolieTrust. As for Cowboyz1, no it doesn't surprise us, and like a few others I didn't bother to read the ultimate Cowboys homer's take on how this is a blessing in disguise or whatever angle he is working now. I'm not sure if it is an act, or if it is for real. If its real, dude seek some help before it is too late.

Yep the delusion is strong with this one. PS Put that toolieTrust guy on ignore, save your time...

No I'm a realist, my Browns suck, and have since their return in 1999. I can only hope that now we have hired a decent coach (one other teams were actually interested in) and some new front office people with fresh ideas and views. Not the last guy availalbe off a scrap heap who is likely to be canned in 1-2 seasons. Let me know when I start touting Manziel, McCown or Kessler as an elite or even franchise QB. Or otherwise talking about my Browns like they'll produce at a much higher level than most expect.

I just happen to be an eternal optimist in order to keep from being depressed by the losing year in and year out. I've never been very optmistic and now I just wait to see if we can return to respectability. I've watched less and less of the games the past year or two, otherwise I'm just angry the rest of the week.

Cowboyz1
You mean like Bledsoe got his job back from Brady? No, I mean when Dak does well he will give way to Romo who is the starting QB and has some advantages over the rookie. For example, what Dak gives up in his ability to read defenses and make adjustments on the fly he gains with his legs. I can see Dez, TW, Beasley, and Witten all going out on routes with Zeke taking the remaining LB out into the flat clearing out the middle. Dak then scampers for 15+ while having beat the single LB who can't match his agility down field. Dak will drive defenses crazy with his mobility like Russel Wilson. He's a pass first kid but man defenses will have a lot to worry about in coverage on top of spying DAK. He's gonna be a handful. On the other hand, Romo knows this offense and with all the weapons he has will shred defenses once his back is ready which I can see him pushing to play the second or third week. MTSuper7
Well, I just hopped on the 'Boys bandwagon this year. I couldn't pass up Elliott at 2.08 in my main local. Then Dez was sitting there at 3.05 and there wasn't a better option out there. So I certainly hope there isn't much of a drop off with Dak at the helm. I even drafted Dak with my last pick to complete the triplets.
