Say1or
The big topic is how the carries will be dispersed in the backfield between Yeldon and Ivory, but if there is one back you would like to own.... would it be Yeldon? He has looked pretty spry this offseason and although he may not get much work inside the 10 yd line, he could rack up plenty of yards in a Gio Bernard type of role with 4-5 TDs on the year. Agree? Disagree? Think Yeldon should be avoided altogether?
heehawks
I think he is valued right where he should be, of course depending upon ppr or not. I think the real question is whether or not Ivory is way undervalued this year.
ImNotSoIgnorant
I have Ivory as the 21st and Yeldon as the 34th RBs in rankings. I will admit right now its incorrect. I have one more draft this year and I'm too lazy to go back and change it. I'll just do what I've been doing and changing it in my head. Anyway, I think Ivory is the back to own in Jacksonville. 2014-15 he had RB3 numbers and last year had Low RB1, high RB2 numbers. He's been consistent and startable in flex formats and as a RB2 last year. Yeldon wasn't horrible last season and its hard to judge a player on a rookie season, good or bad. So I like Ivory more at 28 or so, Yeldon maybe at 30. Their close, but Ivory is the preferred RB. To research further read about the Jax O-line and see what you think. Their WR1 and WR2 are very good. Their TE is at least decent. Bortles can play very well and rack up yards and is improving each year he's played. So if the O-line can pull/push DTs Ivory is undervalued. Did I just confuse with too much information?
Football Follies
Yeldon went before ivory in my draft which surprised me, I swiped ivory about a round later. Seems like an even split to me but ivory getting the GL carries gives him the nod
El Lieb
i think i will avoid both. Jax likes to play from behind a lot which means more passing yards and fantasy pts to Hurns and Bortles
loaf
I think lots are looking at what they assume will be an upgraded defense and not thinking they'll be playing from behind a lot. I am not in that group. But I don't think Yeldon's undervalued
ffgreg
I took Yeldon in a couple leagues as my RB4-5. He has good upside if Ivory goes down. Even better value in PPR.
