Which position tiers are the lowest you are comfortable picking a starter from?

standard scoring, 1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 te, 1 flex, d/st, k. I am using espn's cheat sheet with position tiers for reference.

 

I would like know where to stop the bleeding if a position is slipping away on me in the draft.

 

QB-

10 team: Winston, Mariota if I can also get one from Carr, Ryan, Tannehill

12 Team: same.

 

RB-

10 team: I could go down to Bernard, Gordon, Langford, Forsett. But after that maybe Jennings or Abdullah.

 

12 team: Now I am fine going down to Abdullah

 

WR-

10 team: I have a wall at Maclin, Benjamin, Landry, Decker

 

12 team:I would stop at the trio in Arizona.

 

flex-

 

WR-

10 team: Djax, Crabtree, Marvin Jones

12 team: same

 

Rb-

10 team: Jennings or Abdullah, maybe Ajayi.but no Jax backs

12 team: same

 

TE-

10 team: whatever.

 

12 team: same.

I usually don't aim for the lowest, I just take what I feel is the best value or whomever I have a crush on at the time.

I always hated drafting starting receivers in rounds 5-8. It guaranteed mediocrity for the whole year at receiver. But receiver is deeper than ever, so it's not a big deal anymore.

There are too many stud WRs for you to drop down that low before you draft. I mean who would you be drafting before them? This is not best RB drafting class.

On the some of the mocks I have done, I waited too long to grab my 2nd RB or 2nd WR and ended up with what I saw as a real hole in my starting lineup. I wondered how you guys see these tiers and had similar opinions taking a position because it is out of startable players even though you may like another player at another position more.
