Wentz.

no

You think Wentz starts over Chase Daniel?

not until week 6 to 10

Daniel will be gifted the starter job. At best Wentz has a cracked rib and he is still out. Daniel will be exactly what Pederson was the year they drafted McNabb

At least this gives me another short-term starter option in the league I lost Teddy. Of all my leagues, I lost Teddy in the one where the other owners are just batpoop crazy about QB. I had added guys like Glennon, Daniel, Siemian, etc. in the hopes that one of them would become a starter. Got lucky with Siemian and now looks like Daniel will be an option for me too. Of course, would rather have Bridgewater but still.

Guess the Vikes are truly all in. I figured they'd used their extra 3rd next year to get a guy like Glennon.

aaaaaaaaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! You have got to be kidding me!

If you said they traded Bradford for a 4th round pick alone I would have thought that was too much. Plus you get the added headache next year of whether there's any real difference between Bradford and Bridgewater.

The Vikings weren't Super Bowl-bound this year anyway - why on earth would they do this? Very poor management decision IMO.

How is he possibly going to learn the playbook in time to be any sort of effective? I don't get these last second type of QB trades, I guess all he will do is hand off to AP for the first four weeks until he gets hurt...again.

Vikings...too desperate. Any, 4th round pick sure. But anything above that does not make sense...UNLESS Bridgewater, unbeknownst to him, was injected with a slow acting serum by the Philadelphia Eagles secret society. SO secret they are known to actually like the Eagles. Is it surprising all this occurs as Doug Pederson joines the Eagles? Has he been checked for strange tattoos? The bizarre over paying for Wentz now makes complete sense.

aren't they still on the hook for the signing bonus already paid? isn't MN only on the hook for the $7million this season only?

Per ABC - http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/sources-vikings-trade-eagles-qb-sam-bradford/story?id=41844279

Bradford re-signed with the Eagles in March to a two-year, $35 million deal with $22 million fully guaranteed.

The Eagles would be responsible for Bradford's $11 million signing bonus. ProFootballTalk.com reported earlier this year that $5.5 million of the $11 million signing bonus was due March 18 and the rest of the bonus was due on or before September 1. The rest of his contract -- $20 million in base salaries and $4 million March 2017 roster bonus -- would go to the Vikings.

Safety blanket as Bridgewater's injuries could take longer than a year to get back on the field. Even then, he wouldn't have gotten the much needed playtime to get better than an Alex Smith game manager level.

Bradford's deal could be terminated if Bridgewater is back, or they could keep Bradford if Teddy isn't.

Not saying I like the trade for Bradford, but I understand it.

No kidding. They could have paid a lot less for a lot more imo. They could have probably worked 2nd day draft picks for guys like McCown or Glennon (maybe). I was secretly hoping they'd work some magic to get McCarron since Zim has some relationships with Cinci...I'm still in stunned mode over the amount they gave...makes me a little sick.
