stickers
Myself and several others are not receiving the trade alert emails this season. I cant find anywhere to change this setting. We get the push notifications from the app but no emails. Anyone else have this issue?
Def.
Actually not trying to single you out here, but am really curious why there are so many posts in this forum about ESPN's website functionality? Do they not have their own forums or FAQ for assistance?
stickers
They do but I visit here regularly and lots of knowledge here.
anismith
I noticed this too on ESPN. I use several sites and don't know what the issue is for them. I get some trades e-mailed to me but not others.
Big Country
Have you checked your spam folder?
Def.
Have you checked your spam folder? Â Or Microsoft's new Clutter folder too if your running through Outlook/Office365. Don't know why Microsoft found it necessary to have two folders that essentially do the same thing but meh...
stickers
Yep, have checked spam, junk, everything. Others in my league have too. I use gmail so not sure what changed recently. I may try using another email to see if anything changes.
stevegrab
So have you actually contacted ESPN about this? They might know something, can confirm emails are being sent, blocked etc. Â Nobody here has that ability. While people might have had a similar problem and can offer assistance, that was the point Def. made. You simply answered "yes they do but you guys are so helpful". stickers
Yes, I have contacted them but have not heard anything back. I was not sure if there was a setting that I am missing and I figured someone here may know. Edited September 8, 2016 by stickers
stevegrab
Yes, I have contacted them but have not heard anything back. I was not sure if there was a setting that I am missing and I figured someone here may know. Â Didn't mean to give you a hard time but in the future I suggest you say "I've contacted their support...." in these kind of questions. Just helps show that you're trying to find the answer on your own. I've encountered many people lately that just don't even try that, or a quick internet search before posting a question for others. stickers
No problem, waited about 2 days before posting after googling and contacting them. Someone else is having the problem too now. https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/51kv5v/espn_trade_emails_not_sendingreceiving/ Edited September 9, 2016 by stickers
stickers
Figured it out in case others have the issue. The report type email option must be html and not plain text.
boltnlava
P.S....free is free?
loaf
I don't know, MFL had all kinds of convoluted settings that unless you had this and this checked, this wouldn't happen or would happen...free is very stripped down but you do have to make sure you have the right settings checked before finalizing.

As a former IT admin I'm wondering why this would make a difference. Did anybody say why plain text would be blocked or not delivered?
