Rotoworld downgrades Freeman to RB2 ROS. Coleman came in as the starter and ceded to Freeman when he got injured an Freeman blew up. Freeman cooled down late season, though, and Coleman was the pick by the new coaching staff when they came in. Don't own either but I'd be a bit concerned if I were Freeman owner and slightly optimistic if I had Coleman.

I drafted Coleman because he was a value considering how Freeman went in the tank the second half of last year. I think he could end up getting spot starts based on how this hot hand things works out.

I ended up with Coleman as my RB3, but my RB1 and RB2 are really like RB3 and RB4...

 

 

Hope the first week was something he can build on and they continue to find ways to get him the ball.

I have both in a few leagues. Hard to predict who is going to get the better numbers. I guess I will wait until one of them gets injured as it should happen sooner or later

I have freeman just in one league as a keeper. Other RBs are Ingram, D.Murray, Tevin Coleman, and Terrance West.

 

So now I need to trade Coleman. As a handcuff i'm ok with him, but I'd rather risk Freeman being the better back than having one or the other sitting on my bench.

We'll see. It was one game. I think Freeman still finishes as an RB1 in 12 team PPR leagues.

just eyeballing it, Freeman looks more fluid to me. Coleman looks stiff although i know hehas the nice straightline speed.

i saw just bits of this game but the run-blocking was not up to the task on the few carries i saw Freeman get.

 

anyone see a lot of this game?

Sadly as a Freeman owner I watched him seem sluggish and not making quick moves at all. Like his body was too heavy for him to use it naturally. Sure blocking wasn't great, but he really did seem slow. Especially running to the outside.
