Arizona Cardinals - Soft as butter

Game shouldn't have been that close. Losing never comes down to one play. Takes a whole game to get into that situation.

Yes it should have. What did NE do to make you think they shouldn't have been in position to win that game?

Carson Palmer is 37 years old and has won one playoff game.

Russell Wilson is 27 years old - and he has won 6 playoff games.

I'm a fan of the Hawks.

Arizona is as soft as butter.

Are you talking about the AZ Cards that won the NFC West last year?

What do you think of Dan Marino?

That Blount fumble turned that whole game around - just like that. JG looked good for you guys though...big time trade bait at the end of this season.

again why wouldnt they give the ball to dj more than 16 carries

the pats managed the clock and ran it down to 1 second on every play, they controlled the game

bill exposed the weak corner spot and the dink and dunk with the shifty NE recievers took over

Frankly im happy the cardinals lost this game

This will light a huge fire in their asses to give DJ 25-30 carries a game and get the defense together because its a total joke that they lost this game

Wow, missing a makable FG turns everyone soft, eh?

They've won one playoff game since 2010 despite having some ample talent in that period. Palmer's playoff record isn't good.

They are a good team and they won the NFC West last year. But their resume is of a prototypical warm weather team that fades later in the season; the bigger the games get. Losing week 1 doesn't cement their success, or lack thereof for the season, but losing to a Brady-less team at home in Week 1 adds to the weight of evidence of their resume.

How many playoff games did they win in 2009? Nice cut-off point with your take......

why did they give dj the ball 16 times then? it should have been 30-35

Gonna be a loooooong season. No need to run him into the ground this early, especially when they have so many different weapons on offense...including two other capable RB's. Like others have said, giving it to DJ more shouldn't have been the deciding factor here. There were many different things at play.

Yes it should have. What did NE do to make you think they shouldn't have been in position to win that game?

NE playing with no Brady, no Gronk, missing both starting tackles, missing Ninkovich, etc., had no business keeping up with that Arizona team in Arizona EXCEPT that, as the OP says, Arizona played soft as butter. Speaks to the toughness of NE and why BB should win COY pretty much every year. If AZ played up to their talent it would have been a complete blowout. It just shows how much coaching matters and that BB is the best there ever was.

Under their asses perhaps, but in their asses is just going to result in the whole team being placed on I.R., and no one wants to see that happen.

I believe that's the 2nd time recently you've jumped on Wilson's jock in a thread that has nothing to do with him.

You have a lil somethin on your chin there

The Arizona Homer was curious about my homerism; so the comparison wasn't out of the blue. Why are fan bases of teams that grossly underachieve so sensipoo of the opposite?

So if the Cards can't beat the Pats they are "soft as butter".......what does that make your Hawks, well since they can't beat the Rams..."the Rams" in an Allen Iverson voice, "we talking about the Rams, not the Patriots, the Rams". HaHaHaHaHa, OMG, you scored 3 points against the Rams..maybe you wait a few more weeks before you run your chops next time.
