dougsul
I bought into the Fleener hype thinking he could be a TE1 but at thins point I am thinking of just cutting him for someone like Pitta. He has had passes thrown his way but he does not come up with any receptions.
XFlash
he has been getting a lot of targets. Catching the ball has nothing to do with offense scheme. what happened from when he left IND?
LosGatosEnFuegos
Just rewatched his plays from this week. It's all on him. He bobbled both passes that he actually caught. He flat dropped a couple and didn't fight hard enough for a couple more. Even one long pass that would have been a TD initially looked like Brees overthrew him, but on the replay you can see that after he beats his man on a go route, he inexplicably stutter steps instead of continuing his stride. Brees threw it where he should have been. I never paid much attention to his game film in IND, so can't really speak to what has changed. Went back and watched a couple games where he was targeted a fair amount from 2015. He made his catches in space. Didn't really win contested balls. But he looked more sure-handed than he did this week. Wild guess: his head might be rattled from having a hard time learning the playbook after 3 straight years of working in the same system. But Allen was always touted as having better hands than him in IND.
XFlash
I made the drop and won PItta on waivers. 2 weeks of barely anything was enough for me. someone else can have that headache.
Papajohn
It is easy to say now, but I never got the Coby Fleener love. Even if he is a better fantasy tight end than a real tight end, that isn't saying much.
MTSuper7
I'm starting Fleener on Monday night in Week 3 so I can go into the game trailing by only 3 fantasy points yet still lose my fantasy matchup. Nothing makes watching a Monday night game better than needing next to nothing from one guy and getting exactly nothing.

This almost happened to me with Mathews last night and then he just put up two scores.

He got 5 touches and amassed 16 yards . It actually still hurts when I sit down

It actually still hurts when I sit down I remember reading that he got 13 yards receiving on 12 targets - how is that even humanly possible? There truly is no agony like watching a WR3/Flex fringe starter type go deep into the Monday night game without getting the little production you need for a win. Fleener is the PERFECT dude for me to start if I want to be in position to sweat things out.
